Embarrassment was so thick across his body that he seemed to struggle to express it. His body wiggled behind the coat like a worm before he gained some nerve and looked at her. She was still standing there, doing her best impression of scolding when a part of her was giggling on the inside. He was supposed to be the lead healer. Her master. If he couldn’t manage dignity he should at least find authority. Somehow he hit neither. He mostly just looked like a boy dying of embarrassment.

She gave an exasperated sigh. “Don’t be such a prude. Did you ever think that maybe I like having the choice? Apparently it’s my body now. Well, I’m donating it to medical science!” She offered him a cheeky grin, wondering if he would hide again. Mostly ignoring his comment on what they had done to her. What he, in all their time together, had never done to her.
