She grinned as he complimented the work Rue had done so far! Yes indeed, Rue was probably the smartest of the lot (that she had noticed, but she wouldn't tell the others)! She didn't seem to be plagued by the illeism as much, just mildly. Her daughter was smart and cunning, and clearly very crafty and inventive when she needed to be. Yes, Medusa was proud of her. Of all of them, really. They'd all come so far and each with their own strengths (and weaknesses), and she looked forward to seeing where they would go in life.
