They merged together, and sometime later, sweaty and warm and sated, she yawned and wiggled free of his grasp. That had been… a satisfying itch to a scratch that had been building in her this last season. A part of her was a little concerned about Oleander. Now that she had displayed a willingness to do this once, would he expect it of her? Would he demand it as part of her duties as his slave? She brushed aside the thought. He’d proven himself to be different already. He would prove to remain so, or he wouldn’t. She had very little power of her own.

Pulling free of him, she trotted through the den, grabbing the coats they had left on the floor from when they had begun. She still needed to get them cleaned and replaced…
