A low growl of satisfaction rumbled from Enyo’s chest as Empousa rushed in, aiming for her shoulder and neck. The smaller wolf was fast, she’d give her that, but speed alone wouldn’t win this fight. The moment Empousa’s shoulder made contact, Enyo braced, her broad frame absorbing the impact like a wall of stone. The instant she felt teeth graze beneath her jaw, Enyo twisted her powerful neck with a sharp jerk, aiming to deflect the bite and slam her thick skull against Empousa’s.

Without hesitation, Enyo surged forward using her size to press into Empousa, denying her any chance to gain leverage. The hooked leg clinging to her side was met with a crushing counter. Enyo shoved her weight hard to the side, attempting to pin Empousa against the ground with her broad chest, trying to cut off her mobility.

"You’ll need more than that," Enyo growled, her voice low and dangerous.
