You wish you never met her at all

What was with this woman and trying to crush her? Empousa clung tightly to Enyo, muscles burning with the effort to stay attached. Even as the larger beast pressed down with brutal force, she held on, though there were moments when she felt the pressuring daring-threatening-to flatten her. Her breath caught in her throat as she focused, refusing to stay pinned beneath her.

As Enyo went for her limbs Empousa thrashed away, moving her leg back just in time to avoid the snap of Enyo's teeth. With a sharp, desperate, and almost instinctive motion, she lowered her head and lunged forward. Aiming to latch onto Enyo's face with her jaws. If she could grip hard enough, maybe it would make it harder-or impossible-for Enyo to grab at her legs again.

The struggle was intense, just as the rest of their battle had been. Empousa's muscles screamed in protest as she balled herself up, gathering every ounce of strength she could muster, and heaved with all her might to get the beast's weight off of her. The ground scraped against her, and her body ached from the exertion, but she managed to get her off of her. At least for now.

Hoping to keep Enyo on her back, she would try to jump onto her side, or stomach whichever was still facing her at this point. And then go for her face again, if Enyo must play rough then so be it; Empousa could give just as good as she received. At the least, she would show Enyo she is not as inept as she thought she was. She was not weak.

"I can handle more than you think." she snarled through clenched teeth, her voice was rough and dangerous. There was no room for weakness here, not in front of her, and she was determined to show her opponent that she wasn't as fragile and meek as she might have seemed.

Empousa knew, however, that she should assume this battle be far from over. As the seconds ticked by she could only rely on herself, and her resolve to endure and keep standing no matter the cost.
