Citadel’s paws on Makara’s shoulders clearly weren’t getting the message across. He wanted to hop up onto his Auntie, but she seemed too wrapped up in conversation (boring conversation) to help him. So, he took matters into his own paws. He pushed a little higher on his back legs, and tried to hook a paw around her shoulder so he could heave himself up - but he was caught.

His dad scolded him, and he sighed softly. He was greeting his Auntie in his own way, couldn’t they see? And then they were moving, so he didn’t get another chance to sneak up her, so he plodded along with the rest of the group. He stuck his tongue out at Selene as she tried to speak, and was pretty much ignored like he was. Adults could be so boring sometimes.
