Zeph claimed that he didn't wish to leave and the growl in his voice ticked a little switch in Star's mind. Danger. She might possibly be in danger. Cyan eyes narrowed slightly as she watched the large man. Would he dare risk Erebos' anger? She doubted that he was clever enough to erase all evidence of a crime, even if he did away with her. From up above, Merlin called out again, this time his scream was questioning. Perhaps the falcon had noticed the sudden rigidity of his mistresses form.

The question that followed was one that brought Starchild's gaze to narrowing further. "I don't like being touched by anything." Surely he should know that. From behind, a guttural, screaming snarl rang out as Dundee, her Tasmanian devil, caught himself some breakfast. She had assistance here if needed and Zephyros would surely realize that.

As the black and white brute stepped towards her, Star reflexively leaned away, her body going rigid. Within her slender rib cage, the woman's heart began thumping furiously. Thankfully, her cousin didn't touch her. Instead, he moved out into the water, claiming that he would be staying as well. "I'm staying to work," she informed him in clear tones. Though she was small and she wasn't a fighter, Starchild wasn't a pushover. She was a Dunamis, after all, and she knew her worth. She would bow down to Erebos as the head of their clan, but she would bow down to no other in these lands.

An invitation was given and the black and white fae scoffed lightly. Did he think she was some stupid commoner, ready to just obey at the first order? Zephyros moved out into the water and Star stood her ground. "No, thank you," her tones were crisp and clipped. Zeph had always been edgy, unpredictable, but this was something new. He'd never directed his attention towards her before. Star took a few steps back from the waters edge, then turned, keeping her side towards the bank for several steps as she moved off towards the foliage of the oasis.

"Starchild Dunamis"

Starchild has mild Haphephobia, so please don't touch her unless you know her very well and she gives permission.

She is always accompanied by a peregrine falcon named Merlin and a very nasty Tasmanian devil named Dundee who will bite you.
