She knew that any day now, the pups would come. Her belly was round and her joints were aching from the weight of them, and had a feeling in the back of her mind that it could be any day now. And that day was today. She was on patrol when the first wave of contractions hit, stopping her in her tracks. She whined for a moment as she waited for it to pass. Considering she was so close to having her pups, Umbra was nearby as usual. Her shadow cat had not left her side during her entire pregnancy, and so when the first signs of labor began, she helped support Medusa back to the den in the Gorge. Once she got Medusa settled upon the fresh, soft furs and made sure The Wraith was comfortable, she felt it was time to go and fetch Erebos. "Breathe Medusa, I will be right back with him. I know he will want to be present for this. You've done this twice before, you know what to do. And we will be here to help you should you need it." With those words, Umbra hurried to find Erebos to bring him back here as quickly as possible. ooc//Erebos is to post first pls k thnx <3 |
