His dual colored gaze saw the moment Alaric went for his leg and a subtle move to the right had Alaric snapping on nothing and a smirk on his face. He'd have to d better than that. In the same movement Azriel sought to shove his shoulder forward and splayed his jaws aiming to latch onto the smaller man's back just before his hips and shove his shoulder into the man's ribs. His quills were erect on his nape, protecting him at the angle from backlash hopefully.
