The words that reached him made Ultyr freeze in place. His breath caught in his throat like a frantic minnow in the hands of a child. Lay down with them? Her devotion was more than... worship... The least he could do was acknowledge her. He had never played children's games, or he didn't remember playing any. He didn't have any playmates before he was a year old.
