Could a wolf possibly be more angry and infuriated than Siduri was at present? No, she didn't think so. Both Calliope and Tarnish raged against her, refusing to leave. Siduri was very much channeling her inner Gilgamesh at that moment. Didn't they realize that they were only distracting her from the real goal? She couldn't give all of her attention to killing the worm if she had to keep checking on them.
The boulder plan wasn't working. Something had to give. Mismatched eyes scanned her surroundings and Sid noticed a spire of stone, long, cylindrical, but tapered to a point. The pastel fae took it between her teeth, took a deep breath, and vaulted into action. She ran towards the back side of the worm, using the other wolves as a distraction. Paws planted on the precipice and Siduri launched herself out into open air. With her scaled chest, she hoped that it might help some against the heat of the worm, but it didn't matter in the end. Protecting her family was the goal here.
Spike of stone in her maw, Siduri aimed for the back of worms head section, her mark right in the middle of the outwardly opening petals of mouth. If the thing had enough wherewithal to choose its targets, it surely had a brain in there somewhere and Sid wanted to scramble it.
