Lost in thought, it had taken him longer than he would have liked to realise he had company. Ronan shifted as he laid there, his wings furling a little tighter against his shoulder, his eyebrow raising in a silent, but very judgy unspoken question: what? Which wasn't to say he thought he owned dominion over the oasis or the water within, but he didn't entirely like being stared at. And from his experience, hounds who remained silent and acted all shifty were almost always up to something. And you know, he wasn't really in a find out sort of mood.
She did well to keep at a safe distance, but she was on her paws and he was laying down, so out of the two of them she'd be able to close the distance easier than he would. Still, it was only fair to give her the benefit of the doubt...for now.
