Tanks but no tank you

Long shadows and red tinted light lit the landscape up in wonderful colors, the world in a view like looking through a piece of rose tinted glass. It was especially lovely as they entered what could only be described as…utopia. Huge hunks of metal stuck up from the ground, behemoth ruins that had been long since abandoned by who knows what. And it had all of her attention very quickly, eyes wide and frame shaking slightly with the need to explore as she stared at one of the dilapidated pieces of junk. But she had been being given the cold shoulder after her last exploration despite having come home in one piece and carting a chunk of…whatever that thing had been…with her. Keen to show it off to the hulking man but had only received a disappointed look.

Which is what had put her in her current situation, sulking along behind the other and having to curb her curiosity as they passed each neat, new item. Like the structures and smaller metal pieces in the last place they had passed through. Perfect exploratory chances. But the soldier had said something or another about ‘packs’ and ‘boundaries’ and something else about ‘trespassing’. Bah! The world didn't belong to any one family group, it was a space for everything to exist and no one should have claim to it just cause they lived nearby. What malarkey.

"Don't even think about it Bishop....." The voice was a rumble she could almost feel in her bones when Zosime spoke, quick to catch her attention and pull her from her thoughts as she stared after the lumbering grey and white giant. "I haven't even done anything yet! I'm still here, tripping in your footsteps, ‘leaving stuff alone’." She griped, doing her best to mimic the voice Zosime used when trying to scold her or stop her from looking at things. Picking up her pace, she sidled up alongside the other before carefully weaving back and forth between his front legs. If she couldn't go look at the massive metal beasts, then she'd entertain herself by avoiding being kicked instead.
