Despite her size, Taiga still had the approach of a cat. But as she got closer to the small cat she looked up, a small smile on her lips as the cave lioness flopped down beside her. A soft, delighted prft? came from the tabby as she rolled onto her side to face the much larger cat. “It’s been nice. Strange still, but it’s also nice to have a place to call home, and other cats to be around.” Her smile wavered a little. “I still miss my family, and I wonder if any of them made it. If they would have joined us here…” Sucre shifted her head, laying it upon a foreleg.
“It’s a little sad that we might be the last of our families.” Though in Taiga’s case, she could be the last of her kind over here in Boreas. “But being here gives me hope for a brighter future. We can build a family by bond, not just blood.” And that innocent smile returned. “Anna and Nina certainly appreciate this territory being close to one with water. While they are happy to oblige me with waddling on land, they are happiest when they can fish and swim to their heart's content.”
