Midnight Thoughts

So she hadn't made the best decisions over the past season, but hey, she was alive and her pups were doing well for the most part, and Rou had patched her up well enough that she was on the mend. The right side of her hip and and inner leg would likely scar, and she wasn't yet sure if she'd have a permanent limp what with everything bandaged up, but she was hopeful. Rou had ordered her to bed rest until she gave the okay in an effort to avoid aggravating the injuries or making them worse, and because of that, she had been missing out on time with her pups as they ventured out to explore. Except for Amethyst, of course, who remained in Rou's den for observation. Her smallest daughter had been ill from the start, and Rou was doing everything she could to make sure she wouldn't fall into further decline or worse...

Sighing, Medusa had finally been given the okay to go no further than just outside the Gorge for some light exercise so that her leg didn't stiffen up too much. While she worried over her child, she sorely missed spending time with her mate. Curiosity often killed the cat, and it was her curiosity that had almost killed her. Erebos hadn't been happy about it, but it's not like she had done it on purpose. She was a survivor, always had been and always would be. She wasn't afraid of the world. Still, she sat there as she pondered her future for once.
