He sighed as she tried to convince him to put her down again. She was clever but Zo wasn't stupid either. She had good logic but he wasn't about to let her try to logic her way out of his hold yet. Besides he liked having her pressed to his chest. She couldn't get into trouble or danger this way. While he may of wanted to find somewhere to sleep for the night he wasn't about to just put her down so she could run off and do Zues only knew what and endanger her life. No, she was his to protect from any and everyone. He didn't care who it was, he wouldn't let any lay a paw on her or take her from him. "No...."

His eyes distanced as he stood and started hobbling again. He could only imagine if his commanders had seen him with Bishop they would deem her weak and order her culled so she would never bear him heirs. He'd have their throats for thinking such things. He may not be the type to love, but somehow Bishop had enraptured the beast. He could remember every throat he had crushed, every woman snuffed that hadn't been "good" enough. The damn way his nation had viewed him as little more than a soldier and breeding stock for the next generation of soldiers. His grip tightened on Bishop at the thoughts and memories. Head turning and eye cast over his shoulder, watching for wolves that wouldn't appear before he shook his head and brought himself from his own reverie.

"Tell me about the item I gave you? I'd like to hear you talk my ear off...." He would of chuckled at the fact that she was one of the few she wanted to hear tell him about her bits and baubles even if he never understood. He adjusted his hold on her and stopped to attempt to adjust her so she would be able to ride upon his back and neck instead of carrying her. It was his compromise in a way.
