A looooong neck

Alaric was travelling again after his encounters with the packs of Auster, he decided to head to Boreas. His cane corsos Maul and Cinder trailed behind him. The large white male heard a chuff call to arms, his ears swiveled towards the direction of the chuff. He took a moment to think it through before following the sound. When he arrived, two younger wolves had gathered. They were sizing up a massive creature. Alaric almost wanted to laugh. He couldn't tell if they were brave or stupid going after such a beast. Yet, he didn't laugh. Instead, Alaric decided he wanted to help. It would be better than letting them go at it alone and potentially be kicked to death by the tall creature. He approached and nodded his head in a respectful greeting to the two young ones. "The legs are our best bet, yes." He agreed with the one that spoke. The neck was far too high up for any of them to reach and they weren't about to climb the damn thing either. "Take the legs out, make it fall so we can reach the throat." He agreed further, thinking out loud. Tripping or immobilizing the beast would be the best bet forward. If it fell, the sensitive jugular would be in reach. His orange gaze flashed to Maul and Cinder, then back to the two pups. "The dogs will help with the legs. An extra couple of jaws never hurt." He told them.
