"Do you ever stop talking?" Tide pants as they move the beast toward shore. It's still locked and loaded on him, which is probably helpful in the long run. He's quicker, agile, and razor sharp. Goading the shark into the shallows, watching the giant jaws snap and reach. Though a bite lands on his tail, it's not with as much force as it could be. The beast caught off guard, letting go immediately as its own tail fins are snapped upon by his brother.

Right. The shallows. Now that Tide can find his footing, he moves wide of the jaws. With a dull realization that they're not so alone anymore, some of his confidence returns as well. Teeth going directly for the beast's gills, at least he's got a better angle and more purchase now.
