It was a good thing Balrog's obsidian stare was nearly unreadable, the intensity of what he was feeling almost bubbling over into his features. As the shark chased the bunch, it's thrashing tail sent waves crashing against his chest that cued him to back up. This wasn't just about making sure the other two - now three - didn't get hurt, it was about testing his skill against a truly dangerous foe.
As the shark fell into their trap and beached itself in the shallows, Balrog launched himself on to the back of the beast - using his retractable claws to grip the shark and keep it from being able to worm it's way back into the water. "I'll keep it pinned," He used his teeth to tear down into it's spine, though did not expect how rough the skin of a shark would be.
