we know a thing or two, cause we've seen a thing or two

Several more quiet moments passed before a shift in the bamboo revealed the dark coated man that was covered in orange-hued splatters that mimicked the dappled markings that covered his wife's coat. Though Hanzo was an imposing figure to be sure, they matched one another in height and build and Remus was able to look him in the eye as his father in law openly scrutinized him. Remus didn't flinch under the other man's gaze and just let him make whatever assessments or judgements he wished to make. He imagined that if he and Ike were ever blessed enough to have their own children he would look at their partners just as closely until he was sure of them so he took no offense to it.
Finally the Tojo-Kai leader addressed his daughter–though it did throw Remus a bit to hear her referred to by her full name. He had called her Ike for so long he sometimes forgot that wasn't her name. It seemed like such a formal way to speak to his daughter, but from what he had heard about the man and their history he wasn't all that surprised. When Ike looked to him he looked down to her as well, meeting her grin with one of his own. Returning his attention to Hanzo, Remus tipped his head in a polite bow as he was introduced. "It's good to finally meet you, sir." He hadn't been sure that he'd ever meet the man, but life had taken them a very different direction than he had originally expected in many ways.
