He couldn't help but admire how care free she was able to be for their morning alone. He wouldn't quit playing in her fur as the moments passed, he'd take in her scent and be reminded at why he loved her so much. He was closer to her than any other wolf in the world and she meant more to him than his own life. As he gave his half hearted protest the answer he would receive was one he was expecting. She knew how unsure he was of the current guardianship of their brood, and here in a few moments they would have to return to the tiny bundles. Though later in the day it sounded like he had plenty of time with her to look forward to. They really would get someone else to look after their trouble making toddlers and spend some time patrolling the border. "Yes, you're probably right," He would add with mock disappointment. He loved his children with his whole heart, and knew very well that he had a responsibility to them. "How much longer should we take?" He'd ask as he trailed kissed from her scruff up to her delicate ears, his teeth parting to nibble at her lobe affectionately.

He wouldn't see her amused smile as his features were buried within her fur, but he could hear it in her voice and that was enough. He wouldn't quit his little distracted affections, and would probably continue on through the time the returned to the den. He was quite content, but knew all to soon they'd be on their way back to real life. He enjoyed, far too much, being in her perfect presence. He felt an amazing relief that she was coming back to her old self. She was right about their little ones though. Fate and Luck wouldn't be this small for long and it was best to enjoy their youth while they could. They wouldn't have much longer to themselves either, the sun's rise obviously about finished as the cave was completely filled with bright colored rainbows. He'd sigh softly, knowing very well that their children were much more important than a moment alone. "You're probably very right," Frith would whisper, not skimping on the kisses especially as his intimate time with her was at its end. "I just don't want to stop kissing you."

She really was more like herself than he had seen her all season, the relief this caused him made knowing he had to stop kissing her easier. She would remind him gently that he had to stop, her nudge a physical reminder that interrupted his rhythm. She'd allow him only one more before she withdrew from his grasp, a soft promise on her lips that they would walk slowly on the way back. He'd offer her a pout as his paws followed after her, obviously distressed at the disappearance of her from his grasp. He'd whine, though the playfulness within it gave away his not-so-serious intentions as he nudged at her hips. He'd followed after her through the tunnel and out into the water. The coolness of the liquid on his legs was a stark contrast to the warming sun above them. Bicolored gaze would look up to the sky as the spray of the waterfall created a brilliant rainbow above the falls. He'd smile softly before catching up to his wife.
