Skirting the gathering of wolves, Warja's eyes roved over those present in the hopes of spying a familiar face. Her eyes lingered on Cru, the wolf who she'd talked to about mentoring, but he was dismissed quickly. He was still a stranger. The only way she was going to park her rump next to him was if none of her family showed. Speaking of, where the heck were they? The yearling's eyes made a second pass across the group. There. Relief washed over her as her eyes settled on her father. She wasn't usually one to be easily intimidated, but situations like this were new to her, her social side largely lacking in development.

Zigzagging through the crowd, the yearling let her eyes briefly rest on each wolf she passed, taking the time to familiarize herself with the faces of her packmates. While she wasn't particularly interested in learning about each one, knowing who was on her side could come in handy.

Taking a seat beside her father, Warja's gaze drifted up to his face. "Hey dad."

Amarant would listen too his mother, following her where ever they were going. They were following a voice, not one he was familiar with but one that seemed to get mother's attention. He would hop beside her, stopping ever so often to look around at his surroundings. He knew the range pretty well, or at least how to get too the barn and back to the den.

He would come to a halt to look at a strange creature that had caught Maia's eye too. But she would shoo him away and pay no mind to the woman. And when her voice rang out to listen, his ears and eyes would flick in every direction. Aunt Vi. He curled his body in between Maia's legs, hoping Koray would do the same. But hs body stayed standing as he eyes the two wolves before them, waiting and listening.

Finally his mother would return - victorious, of course, because she was a queen and true royalty never truly lost. Vivek would answer his mother's call by making his way toward her immediately. The boy would never ignore her call, nor that of his family's. Seeing she and Fia, as well as Desiree and Solo, his heart filled with pride - his family was so lovely. They would stand out in this sea of wolves without any sort of issue. He would sit with them, wondering where the rest of his siblings were - before the green woman caught his eye... she was definitely different - he wanted to know just who she was and where the higher ups found her. But that would wait until his mother said what she had to say.

He would lay lazily outside of the den while Othello and the young pups would nap, half playing guard and half just trying to keep his own space. The pups were getting big, and they were getting big fast. The den was feeling rather cramped so mostly he would be on the other side of the entrance. His body would stir though, as he heard the call of Covari's alpha. He would stir slowly, knowing he would still need to wake Othello. Once he was on his paws though eyes would find the sleeping woman. "Othello, wake up, Vi is calling for us." He would nudge both of his children, waking them quickly and dragging them from the warm den.
He would lead his whelps and his woman to Vi's side, a bit vexed that Sibelle had taken his place by the queen's side. Instead he would not even approach the royal line at all, instead placing himself and his tiny family behind the others already gathered. He would mostly keep his eyes to himself, a smirk on his features as he would sit, taller than most other wolves there. He would catch sight of one wolf in particular, Pandora's alluring frame would grace the meeting. As well as Soliloquy had already arrived. He was rather sad to see no companion at his side. He would let his gaze fall back upon the red queen, his side leaning in affectionately on Othello's shoulder.

Alamea had not spoken with her mate too much, the news of the Covari alpha?s victory over Erani had never sat well with her but she had found she didn?t know how to bring it up to Rune, would he take it the wrong way? Confrontation had always intimidated her and she wasn?t so sure how well she would be able to handle it from her own mate. Alamea had been out for a walk, clearing her head when the call had sounded. Her first thought was that she didn?t want to listen to it, the second one was that she needed to make sure Keiki had heard the summon.
Altering her path the white woman searched out her daughter, rose orbs scanning as she caught the grey girl?s scent. It took only a moment for her to find the child, and make it clear that the girl was to follow her. Then reluctantly the white woman led her daughter to the meeting. Moving quietly over to her mate?s side, the woman noted that Warja had already arrived. It was just her son that was missing then. Not surprising.

Keiki did not hear the call, this was too be expected. The grey and white girl was completely unaware of any change, icy gaze all too focused on the lady bug in front of her. A yearling the girl might have been but her child like curiosity and playfulness had not left her yet, in fact she was patting at the insect gently. A familiar scent reached the girl and she raised her head rather quickly, a goofy grin upon her muzzle and her tongue flopping from the side of her mouth. Her mother was coming towards her, and the child forgot all about her game with the beetle.
The white woman spoke, slowly making her mouth movements appear deliberate and after a moment the girl had grasped that she needed to follow her mother. The girl nodded happily and bound after the woman, quickly keeping pace and walking along beside her. Keiki was just starting to overtake her mother, long grey legs giving her height the white woman just didn?t have. They arrived at the gathering and the girl held back the urge to bound over to her father and sister, waiting instead till her mother had settled herself and walking over to her sister. "Hi!" He greeted, a bit too loudly.

The bandit woman had been careful about where she placed her paws. She had been desperate to make sure that she remained within Covari though she hoped they could use her specific skills, including speed, for something more then simply hunting. The woman heard the call and rushed to the meeting though she was pretty far away. She ran, though not at her full speed, only to arrive to the meeting after many wolves. "My queen." She stated respectfully to the woman she found to be in charge of the daily affairs of the pack. Her mask of her face hid everything about her other then what she wanted them to find out. She had a mind working up a plan.

Freya was still getting used to this whole, sleeping in a different den thing. The girl almost longed to be back on the island in the den she had shared with her mother and siblings, but she knew that by now it would not be big enough to hold them all, even if Freya could probably snuggle herself in beside at least a few of her siblings. Being the runt had some advantages after all. The call reached her in the solitude of her den and the girl almost jumped to paws, eager to have an excuse to find her siblings.
The golden girl raced towards the gathering, slowing herself as the group actually came into view. With head held high, though not with pride the girl approached her brother, bumping into him with a grin and settling herself at his side.

Walk | Talk | Think

A little similarly to his father, Eirik was not entirely feeling as at home as he had hoped. It felt like the quiet pack they had wandered into when they joined had suddenly filled up with active bodies all filling in the spaces that had once been empty. It had intimidated the boy, worse than the territory alone had intimidated him. To wander around a land that was unfamiliar to him was one thing, but to do so and be guaranteed running in to someone that he knew nothing about, that seemed to run from questionable backgrounds, was something else entirely. It disappointed him somewhat in himself, especially since he was creeping up on his father's height already and threatening to go beyond, but there was no shaking the sense away. At least until the call came.

The pale grey youth thought seriously about not answering it. He had found himself a nice little hiding spot and was reluctant to give it up. But the image of his father, stern frown and all, snuffed out those thoughts rather quickly. He needed to go, if only because his dad expected him to.

Eirik moved with swift strides, his black paws covering ground easily as he finally came upon the gathered pack. There were so many that his rosy pink eyes blinked at first, trying once to count them and then needing to try a second time before he gave it up as useless. There was simply a lot of wolves already there. And somewhere... Oh. He spotted his dad sitting beside the dark colored woman that was his aunt, both of his sisters and his mother there too. Late. That would go over well. Lowering his head in a quiet manner, the tall boy wound his way toward his family and strayed to his mother's side. He stopped there, bumping his head gently against her petite shoulder with a rueful smile before he offered brighter ones to both Keiki and Warja and then caught his father's eye. Yep, he was late, but at least the man seemed too preoccupied to say anything about it. Counting himself lucky, the youth took a seat beside his sisters and sighed, glancing around at the strangers of the pack until they were called to order.

Orchid was collecting very precious herbs when the call went out, in fact her entire leaf bag was packed with goodies such as weed and other fun things. She would sigh and twirl it back into her coat before heading out to the meeting. She would see the place already fulled with people and would take a seat near to Vi, she imagined that as A: lead healer, and B: the one looking after the injured Vi and Sib she would have a right to be near by. She would find herself glancing over to both those wolves, she knew Vi's injury will be bad for a while and depsite Vi moving her den to be closer to Orchids and the daily workouts the two held it would still be a long, long before she was even close to recovery.

Sib she would also note looked quite upset and she was tempted to pass some herbs her way to calm her, but perhaps that would not be best under the eyes of the pack. She would let out a barely audible sigh as she settled in and waited for the meeting to progress.

Scorpion's soft call woke her up, the echos of Vi's howl sounding in her ears. Never the best in the morning, she groaned and pulled herself to her paws. Why couldn't this have waited until later? She just wanted to sleep for goodness sake. Huffing, she followed after Scorpion, looking behind her to make sure that her too little ones were following after her. It would be there first time seeing everyone, and she was a little bit nervous for whatever reason. But they were smart kids, she hoped that they wouldn't get into any trouble.

When they had arrived, quite the crowd had gathered already, and she looked around at all these strange faces. She had been holed up in the den for so long that most of the new wolves where unknown. Her ears pinned back slightly as unease settled in her stomach, but when Scorpion leaned on her she calmed down. Gazing down at her paws, she grinned as her two children looked up at them.

Mercy bounded up to Scorpion as he got ready to go, excitement bubbling up in her little belly. There were going to be so many wolves there! She wanted to meet everyone that lived here and made sure that they knew her name. She was a pretty cute girl, so she was important, right? Giggling, she walked on her already lanky legs as her too-big paws slapped on the earth. Mommy trailed behind, mumbling about waking up. Mommy was never very happy when she had to wake up, Mercy already knew not to wake up the sleeping bear that was their mother.

When they reached the large crowd, Mercy picked up on a bit of her mothers worry, and looking up at her purple eyed mother she let out a small whimper. Why was Mommy scared? It was just wolves, and they all smelled alike to her. So that was good, right? But when Scorpion found a seat at the back, her head flopped upwards as she looked straight up at him. "Daddy I can't seeeeee. Lift me up! Up up!" She yipped, jumping around excitedly. She had never seen to many wolves, she wanted to see the one that lead them! Mommy said that she was red, and she had never seen a red woof! Up up!

The little furball had been staying with Othello and her family while his mum went out. The little blind boy was nearly helpless most of the times and no one trusted him to be alone. Ty tried his hardest to be like a normal pup. To play and adventure. But, he always needed help with something. Though, it was exciting for him to be a part of a pack. Its name was Covari and everyone was so free spirited. He had yet to meet any of the leaders, but the lands were covered with tons of scents. So when Othello's mate came forth to gather them, excitement flushed through his bodice. He heard them all speak, his little friend Mercy, was quite excited as well. The boy found his place next to her, bumping into her on accident. The little one yipped as they all pranced along to the meeting place. Ty's tail wagged like never before. He was so excited to meet all of the pack. Though, when they arrived. They were late. Chatter built up, a lot of voices filled his head. Scents gallor. Yet, he would never see any of them. Mercy whined to her dad and he shrugged. The boy could never see. "I wish I could see too! I heard the leaders have pretty fur!" The boy giggled and sat next to Mercy, waiting for the leaders to speak.

(OOC: So... since he hasn't met any of his fam I'm just kind of ganna throw something together.)

The dark pup would grab onto Othello's tail with his teeth, her leading the way to wherever they were going. Although he was growing accustomed to his den and new family, he hoped that they would find his mother soon. Hopefully she wasn't hurt, but she hadn't showed up yet. Were they even looking for her?

The pup would sit next to his new found mother, his sister wanting to climb up on Scorpion's back to see more. But Exodus would shy away from him, his voice was so overpowering compared to his and well, anyone else he knew. A whole bunch of noises and shadows would fill the pup's mind, his clear optics shutting in an effort to keep them all out. He wanted it to be quiet once again, but he wouldn't dare stand up and say anything.

But they were all here for a reason, and he could only hope that it would be explained later by Othello. Because he was trying his best to block it out.

Koray was tired. He'd been up late the night before, like he was every night, secretly keeping watch over the den. He'd caught a second wind when they had left to trek around but he was sleepy again now. That was, until the strange sound came.

Mama seemed to know what the sound was, and she beckoned to them, so Koray followed making sure he was equidistant from Mama and Ammy. Suddenly there were other wolves, and Koray's fur bristled. He remembered the bad dreams of the red wolf that would appear and make Mama sad. Koray didn't know these wolves, didn't know anyone. His Mother seemed to know them though, so he did not bark or bite at any of them with his tiny puppy teeth.

However when his mother gave a wide berth to the strange creature, and Ammy followed suit. Koray stopped, widened his stance, and yapped at it a few times as if the tiny pup was trying to warn the creature that he was dangerous. Pleased with his efforts Koray scurried as fast as he could to catch up with Mama and Amarant.

Skidding to a stop beside his mother, he did like Amarant and next to his brother, beneath his mother for a moment; but all these strangers made him uncomfortable. Koray took a few cautious steps out in front of his mother and sat up straight, his ears were lowered and his tail did not wag as he watched all these strangers, blue eyes looking suspiciously at all of them from within the ember-colored patches on his dark muzzle.

He had to watch for danger, had to protect Mama, and Ammy. They were his family, and he loved them. These other people were strangers, he did not trust them.

The small girl would follow along with Mercy, Revenge, her brother, and her second parents, pressed lightly against Ty?s flank to help move him along. She was looking around, in awe of seeing so many different wolves. She would wag her tail, excitement shining in her good eye. At her brother?s words the young girl would press against him, giving a gentle nuzzle to his cheek. ?You can still see things in other ways that others can?t, remember? Momma said so.? The femme settled down, uncaring that she couldn?t see the best, but she would listen, and she would learn. Though one thing bothered the child. Where was her mother?

"Go and Wander." Said my heart.

...and so I would wander.
The young woman had just finished collecting a few herbs, the coming of spring having lifted her spirits. Ellis found her calling coming back, and she worked hard to find herbs to remake a store of herbs that she felt would assist Orchid in the coming seasons. The woman was a mighty good healer, and she was glad that she could assist such a wise healer. They weren?t so far apart in age either, and that made Ellis even happier. When she finished setting the herbs down she knew she was already running behind on attending the meeting, and the healer would leave her store to attend the meeting that her queen has called.

The woman would come in behind Othello, her family, and her own children, sitting behind Tyrion and Theisinova. She would lean forward, eyes shining. ?Thank you for your help, Othello. I do hope that everyone was well behaved?? She would chuckle softly, since that was more of a joke. All of the children were well behaved, naturally. She leaned down, licking her son and daughter?s heads. ?Hello my little lovelies.?

"Settle down." Said my heart.

...and so here it was I would settle down.

It was time. His strikingly familiar face would arrive, drifting first to Vi and then to herself. She would wait for a just a moment, allowing others to trickle in before she rose, lifting her battered frame onto all fours. "Stay here." She would murmur quietly to Ekko, her gaze never leaving Crucifix. Vi had already given her the all clear to go. Limbs stretched long and wide, broken toe protesting at the weight that it was forced to support. Her expression went oddly blank, her eyes hardening ever so slightly. She would attempt to approach him head on, her movements easy, almost lazy like she was merely taking a stroll. She aimed to press her chest against his own, though slightly more to her left so that her left shoulder sat centered on his chest. She didn't care what others thought of her bold and public approach, she didn't care if he shied away from her touch, she would simply press onward. Muzzle would tip up, aiming to rest beside his left ear.

Eyes would flutter close before she spoke. "You love her, don't you?" Not a single drop of jealousy or rage filled her tones. Instead, her words were soft, spoken as though he were her lover, soft and husky, dripping with unbridled seduction. Ever so slowly lips peeled back to unveil daggers. She would drop her nose to its normal level, leaning back ever so slightly so that she could meet his gaze. It was a quiet affair, she didn't raise her voice, she didn't make a noise. Tongue rolled angrily behind its cage of fangs as tattered ears fell back against her skull. Her eyes would narrow dangerously into slits as her hackles bristled down her spine and neck. Tail aligned with her spine, but hung dominantly in the air. Sore shoulders rolled forward, pushing extra fat and fur around her neck, powerful limbs spread equidistant and bent at the joints for better balance, dull claws dug into the earth after toes splayed. Abdominal muscles flexed beneath her creamy pelt.

"Tell me, the first time we fucked, did you see her then too?" Her voice still did not rise, but remained just as soft and sultry as before. Her body quivered with barely contained rage. Nevermind her feelings for him. This was more than personal. He had hurt not only her, but Vi, her dearest friend. All that aside, it still stung that she was not good enough for him that he could only see Vi. Her composure was fraying, coming apart at the seams. This was too much. The edges of her vision turned red, tunneling so that she only saw him.

SIBELLE vs CRUCIFIX for RANK: round 0/2?

ATTACKS: none yet

DEFENSES: ears pinned, eyes narrowed, hackles lifted, tail aligned with spine, shoulders rolled forward, limbs spread equidistant and bent, toes spread, claws digging into the ground, abdominal muscles flexed. (can't really tuck her chin because of her positioning and trying to look at Cru)

INJURIES: broken/bruised right toes. bite/tear to lower right lip, bruised chest/shoulder area

OOC: not worried about defaults if sea isn't :) also, holding off on her attacks until Cru can respond and maybe talk her down

When Sibelle told her to stay there, she was confused. Why would she want to go anywhere? And then the dame stood up, walking over to a brute who's name she could not quite remember. But what was she doing? Ekko watched her with wary pale blue eyes as she walked up to him, looking as if she was bracing for an attack. The small dame rose to her paws and gasped, but did not move from her position. She was told not to move, so she wouldn't. But Sibelle was still injured, it was not a good idea. The dame fought an internal battle, wondering if she should disobey Sibelle's orders to try and stop this nonsense. When Sibelle's form shook with rage, she knew what she had to do.

Ekko moved. She disobeyed direct orders and walked up to her russet queen, knowing that she may be in the line of fire instead of this male. "My lady, please stop. Remember your injuries, please. How can you get your pack back if you do not allow yourself to heal?" Her words were soft, but they should come as a shock to Sibelle. The dame was willing to take the blows to save her lady from fighting, from battling this gray wolf. She needed to heal so that she could get Arcanum back. She was willing to take a hit to calm her sweet master, to show her reason. There was no way she was going to let this fight happen, in her mind it was without reason. Of course she did not know the back story.

Ekko had gone against everything she believed in, everything that she followed because she truly cared for her master. Was she breaking from her shell? Probably not. Was Sibelle making her a stronger wolf? Perhaps that was the reason.

What happened next would be utterly unexpected. Sibelle would come down from her place beside Vi and make her way towards him. His eyes would turn to watch her approch, to try and make contact with the eyes that glared upon him. He was not certain what was going on with her, but could only imagine some of what she was feeling ? with her injuries and losing her pack. Aside from her return home the last time he had seen her they had almost done the deed, before something had turned him back. He did not think she regretted it either way, he did not think she had any feelings for him beyond lust and the strange friendship that had sprung up between them.

She pushed her shoulder into him and he did not move away, his eyes would simply watch her and he found himself unable to speak. A nameless dreed had begun to tumble beneath his chest and he did not understand what she was doing, what was going through her mind. She would speak then, his dear friend and his world would open up beneath him. Lavander eyes would slip closed as he struggled to find stablity in the moving ground beneath him. The boy would sway almost subtly and he would swollow deep. He knew he was a royal ass, he knew he had gone wrong somewhere and still he was so confused he couldn't work his mind through it. ?I.. maybe.. yes.. I.. it dosen't matter. She could never feel the same way and I.. I assume this is about me approching her about it earlier? he let out a shaky breath bowing his head further his eyes still closed. ?I should never have said anything, it was wrong of me when she is married, a mother, a ruler? he thought then that she wanted to take her dues as Vi's best friend, punish him for the complicated wrongs of the heart in the name of her friend. For after all she was setting out her feet in a fighting stance and would speak again. No... this isn't what this was about, and he was finally, at last, starting to realise as she spoke again and his eyes would snap open. His throat was heavy now, he didn't care that there where people about them, not when he had wronged Sib. He could see now that this was about her, that Vi had told her what he had said. Yes, he was at least wise enough to know that seeing another when they had been about to do the deed was beyond wrong, and perhaps she was asking for blood for this purpose.

?Sib? he whispered ?I could think only of Rasberries, which is.. which is yes, a joke between me and Vi, and could be a refrence to her and I could not go through with it when I did not understand my own mind. I couldn't do that to you, or to her, not even in lust for you are also my friend.? He took in another shaky breath. His voice was barely audible now ?I'm broken Sib, and I dont know how I can stay here, but nor do I know how to leave. Help me? He whispered, so selfishly, for she was also one of his only friends and even well he had wronged her and she thirsted for his blood he didn't know how to save himself ? not from her teeth, but for all their hearts and for his own.
