A smile upon his face, Cassius Adravendi-Mathias would saunter just after his father, seemingly in secret - for the russet sire seemed was not yet aware of his presence. The twotone boy shifted and brushed against Maverick's right side, smiling gently and rocking onto his haunches. It seemed only fitting that he attend this meeting at his father's side, seeing as his first meeting had been between his sire's paws. Fear was still a major word in his vocabulary, but slowly he was becoming more confident in himself - more confident in life. He twisted his cranium toward Queen Loccian and lent her - for the time being - his ear.

Perhaps it was time she really began her new life in the pack. The first few weeks had been sorta rough on the girl, she had been debating her choice and though she still felt it was the right one she could feel the distance between herself and her family like a missing limb. It was tempting to go running to them, knowing that they were all gathered together a short trip away. Still she would not be leaving too soon. Then she had sort of gone about her life unsure what she should be doing. Dragon had told her she could move up rank if she worked hard... but what work was she supposed to do exactly?

A call for the pack would reach her and the curl would unfurl from her den to answer the call. It wouldn?t take her too long to arrive at the meeting though it seemed a lot of the pack was already there. Mismatched eyes scanned the gathered wolves. She couldn't really recognize anyone though some of them seemed to tickle her memory. She sat herself down towards of the back of the gathered wolves.

It probably hadn't been the best decision looking back at it now as he made his way through the Seracian border towards the heart of the territory. He hadn't told anyone of his disappearance, which probably wasn't such a smart idea, but he hadn't wanted to worry anyone. He hadn't gotten gravely ill after returning from the water, his wounds having gotten infected. His illness bounced back and forth between high fevers and hullucinations and he couldn't be around his family in that state. So the grey and black brute had taken off, into the rogue lands, to find himself a lonely cave to settle down to hopefully see this illness through or perhaps die a lonely death. Lucky for him, he had managed to pull through. He had spend a few extra days away to make sure that the illness was really gone and now sure that it was, he was coming back.

To a new pack. Well not new, just different leadership. A leader he would've never pictured. Surprise was evident in his features as he quietly padded his way to the meeting, careful to stay to the edges of the meeting, golden gaze finding Loccian's figure easily. She was at the head of the pack, in the spot where King Maverick usually was; what had happened? Crown was kept low, tail glued to his hocks, ears folded back as he took a seat at the very back, his roaming gaze glancing over a familiar silver form; Pacifica. Oh Pacifica...he had left the poor girl after she'd greeted him from the war. Did she hate him? He hoped not...the feelings he had for her had grown ten-fold and he was finally ready to confess to her...that is if his sister didn't beat him into a pulp first.

Nako shifted from where he sat eyeing with mismatched eye the treeline past the exposed and unseen border, a weak gust of wind molding over his back and causing his feathers to bounce and twist along his cheeks. Jakart was next to him, the somewhat smaller pup looking up at his half-brother. The bastard pup had explored all of Seracia that interested him. And a feeling, a pull of sorts, wanted him to go outside of pack boundaries to see what was beyond. Not now though. It was too soon in his life with his set of developing skills, he needed to learn more. And with Chief Loccian having called them all together with a howl a few moments before this moment in time he'd have to wait a little bit longer. Them all... all of Seracia. Nako still didn't quite feel right being in this land of laws and structure.

Bane had said a word once before he was banished. Wanderlust. A desire to see what was over the the next hill basically. Jakart gave a nudge against his shoulder and a whine, Nako looking down with a quizzical frown creasing his muzzle. "Looks like dad isn't watching from the trees today is he? Lets go the the meeting. Don't wanna be late." Jakart said something but the half-Seracian didn't care at the moment, the two brothers starting their short run towards the barn. Both of the young males, with Nako constanly checking the entire way to make sure that Jakart hadn't fallen behind, crossed under the arch of the barn. And with his adopted mother quickly sniffed out amidst all the Seracian wolves the oldest of the two males took his seat next to Tahlia too await Chief Loccian's words.

Time was passing the young man by. He had begun spending more and more time alone, wandering off into sparser parts of his home, sometimes even going as far as wandering off into the rogue lands. His family just wasn't cutting it for him at the moment; he had become more and more irritable as of late and his boisterous siblings didn't help with his mood. So instead of fighting them, Caeto would seclude himself. Going on his own adventures by himself, exploring his home, just trying to have as much alone time as possible. And it worked for the most part. He had begun to become more independent with each new outing, beginning to crave the comfort of his family less and less. He wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not, but he wasn't too concerned with the after effects of his new found moods.

He was coming back from a rogue outing when his grandma Loccian's call would ring out, summoning all seracians to the meeting. Despite his current need for solitude, the young mathias would obediently make his way towards the call, knowing he would get an earful from his parents if he wasn't present. It was probably something important. Azures would catch sight of the meeting long after his nose had scented them, muted russet paws pulling Caeto through the foliage towards the gathered wolves. He would see his siblings, parents and grandfather all at the same time, making a quick decision to sit near his grandfather. Gerhardt didn't ask questions like the rest of his family did. Haunches would fold themselves beneath the boy as he positioned himself close to the elder man, facing him and his grandmother Loccian, ivory and russet ears perked to attention, waiting to see what the meeting was about.

The meeting call reached Faolan's resting ears before Silent's words did. It was uncanny how his hearing worked, but he decided it was a good trait. When his mother spoke, he rose from the den floor and stretched all over. Once he shook the sleep away from his silvery form, Faolan set out with his siblings to the site of the call. Wolves had already gathered and he was happy to see Enola amongst the set of litter mates she had. They were sitting in a row beside Gerhardt and so Faolan bravely ignored his mother's stern gaze to approach the former King.
"Mr. Gerhardt," he gently voiced, wanting to make his presence known. Faolan dipped his majestic silver head and gave the Ambassador a smile before letting his eyes slip to Enola. If it was missed by Gerhardt, then Faolan would be relieved. He swept his tail behind him as he said, "I didn't get to tell you the first time I came to see you two, but I must give my congrats on the beautiful family you have with Queen Loccian." His gaze then moved to the bluish-gray wolf atop the hay bales and his smile widened. "She is a very nice person," he said before noticing Silent's gleam in her emerald gaze. "Pardon me, Mr. Gerhardt," he said, ears flattening slightly and brows furrowing into a worried wave. "My mama is giving me a look." He gently shrugged and his cheerful desposition returned as he walked towards the group of his brother and sisters. Faolan planted his rump between Mercury and Jendai, silently wondering what the meeting was going to be about.

The Ooze Participant

Though her newest litter of four was still rather young, they were far more independent than she had ever expected. They were closer to on another than her first three had been -- Quintus, Cassius, and Amalia all seemed so drastically different from one another and the boys seemed keen to keep to themselves -- but these four children were as close as any mother could've hoped her children might be. And so she could allow them a considerable amount of freedom, comforted by the fact that they were remarkably level-headed and mature for pups. And though they did stray occasionally, it was never far enough for her to need to worry. Epiphron would trail behind Maverick as the newest Queen would summon them, sure her youngest pups would be close behind them.

As she approached the gathering, she would watch the children of Loccian and Gerhardt with curiosity. They were quite lovely, she could not lie; but her gaze quickly moved to find her own children. Arian was the easiest to find, as she was taller than the other seven -- and though she was not a child by blood, she looked remarkably like Maverick. A smile graced her features as she padded toward the girl, settling alongside her and her husband. She noted Caeto's chosen position near Gerhardt, and all she did was smile. If anyone would be a good influence on him, that man would be one of them.

She would settle down on her haunches, waiting for whatever Loccian had to say.

Jakart looked up at his older brother and adjusted himself to scratch an itch behind an ear. A yawn was given and the younger male shifted on his paws anxiously as he stretched his head higher and higher to look at the borders distant tree-line. Still no sign of father today, just like the day before yesterday and before that... come to think of it, about a week had passed since sighting a whiteish smudge stalking amongst the trees. It could've been any other white animal but still, Jakart hoped it was his father. And today was another day without success in sighting Bane, and the brothers had to be quick about getting to the meeting Alpha Loccian. Jakart leaned against Nako's shoulder with a sigh.

"Looks like dad isn't watching from the trees today is he? Lets go the the meeting. Don't wanna be late." The Tahlia born hopped after his brother with a yip. "Your gonna tell mom when you go to him right?" Jakart's question wasn't answered and frown creased his muzzle almost until they reached the human barn thing when he saw most of the Seracian wolves all gathered in the expansive room. The juvenile pup wagged his tail upon seeing Tahlia, and following his elder brothers lead took a seat right next to her. A sudden thought crossed his mind. Where was Anais?

Summoning calls would cause audits to swerve forward as he was awoken from a deep sleep. Sleepily he would rise, eyes opening and closing slowly as he gathered himself together. It had been Loccian who had called him and the rest of the pack together, but why? Last he heard Maverick was still the alpha. Curiosity would drive him forward at a fast pace, sunset hued gaze scanning his surroundings as he went on his way. He was hoping that he would run into someone on the way to the meeting, but he never did. When he arrived many of the members were already here, but luckily he was not late. He would make his way through the crowd, lips creased into a warm smile as his gaze fell upon the different faces of Seracia. He would take his seat within the crowd and shift his gaze toward Loccian and... Gerhardt? A confused expression would wash over his features as he waited for this to begin. What had happened to Maverick's throne while he was captured?

Rolling around the patch of mud and dust, Finiarel was having fun playing on his lonesome...well, with a strange friend that is. He had found a young Raccoon pup to play with, probably about the same age as him and the mother was nowhere to be found. So, Finiarel had made friends with him and the pair played in the mud. Their coats were plastered with it, but they cared not...at least, until the call rang out. Jerking onto his stomach, Finiarel looked with wide eyes and pointed ears in the direction of the barn, groaning. Not because he had to stop playing...but because he was so dirty. He was sure there was no time to wash off in the shallows of the water, so he pulled himself onto his feet to shake as much of it off as possible. However, it only left his fur to stand in spiky clumps, and it would be almost comical if he wasn't about to go to a meeting. Ah, but children were children. Quickly, he began to trot off in the direction of the barn, little did he know that the baby raccoon was following behind. When he reached the field, a small chatter alerted him to the masked stalker. Turning, bright green eyes held a look of "I'm sorry." He wanted his friend to go with him, but he was sure the others would not be okay with it..."You can't go with me this time...maybe next time okay? I'll come back and play after! I promise." He nudged the pup back the way they came, and he himself continued forth.

Within moments he was at the meeting, glancing around he'd see his mother and siblings, as well as Queen Loccian's children. Bounding over, he'd sit among the kids at the head of the group, tail wagging and unashamed of his dirtied coat. It was only mud after all, and he would wash it off after. "Hi Queen Loccian!" He'd exclaim excitedly, tail beating a mile a minute.

Another meeting already? How terribly dull. A sigh would fall a bit too easily from his parted jaws as he forced himself upright, clearly displeased about being summoned. He did not like being told what to do, or where to go, but he was a dutiful boy when he had to be. Even if he grumbled and moaned about it the whole while -- and so the heavy-set boy would make his way toward the gathering, lacking the desire to move quickly or efficiently.

Though he was not yet a yearling, he was certainly a child no longer, filling out his previously oversized head and paws quite nicely. He was large, and it seemed as though his body was inclined to become strong, but he did not readily oblige to its whims. Still, he was larger than his siblings, and would soon reach his parent's height.

The scowl that the boy wore so frequently only faltered when the view of his family came into view. Finiarel in particular caught his attention, and Quintus Nero would saunter over to the boy. He was sitting near the new Queen's children, just like Caeto, who seemed to have taken a liking to their grandfather, though Quintus didn't know why -- he was a boring old man.

"You ought to have cleaned yourself, brother," he told Finiarel with a hearty chuckle -- for while Quintus could be quite proud and stubborn, he was never one to aim for what was proper. And the fact that his small brother seemed oblivious to the fact that it would've been more acceptable to be clean to show up to such a meeting made the boy laugh, as he leaned down to nudge the top of the pup's head.

Bronze had returned.

He had been here for little more than a week now, but his presence had gone unnoticed by all save for his family. It was not at all a difficult feat, considering he spent most of his time hidden away in his den, sleeping and healing and taking all of the herbs his daughter seemed insistent upon bringing him. He was not sure how much they were helping him, but he was still breathing, and for that he was thankful.

He would trail behind his wife and children as Loccian would call all Seracian wolves to gather before him. He was not sure what was happening -- if she was in charge now, or what. But in actuality, he did not care much for politics and never had. She was a kind woman, and he would be happy to serve beneath her. However, if his escape from Glaciem brought any misfortune to the Kingdom, he was prepared to leave with his family at a moment's notice. It seemed they didn't miss him at all.

As the wolves who had gathered came into view, Bronze would come to settle beside his wife, Jendai, and Mercury. Faolan would come to settle near them as well, but he wondered where his Ara might be. He was silent as he bowed his head slightly, waiting for the Queen to speak.

The morning was a cool one, but it wouldn't wake Daedalus. Currently, he was dreaming about large monsters he as fighting that was threatening the pack. Daedalus had grown a little bit since he was born and he was now no longer stocky, but lean and bulky. Daedalus would grow to be much like his father in the coming months. When Loccian sounded a howl, it lulled him out of his sleep and the boy gave a long yawn. "I was havin' a nice dream, mamma." Daedalus said sleepily as he began to wander out with his mom into the open air and to where Loccian would be having the pack meeting.

Daedalus would eventually become more awake as he followed his siblings to the meeting. Daedalus looked around as many, many wolves came to the meeting and Daedalus was almost nervous. Looking to his father, Gerdhart, Daedalus whispered to him. "You lead all of them?" Daedalus had a new respect for his father willing to lead so many in this pack. In his own little mind, he couldn't comprehend on how he could do it himself. It was such a large pack and it was only confirmed that much more that this pack was large. Daedalus for the time being remained silent as he watched his mother walk up the hay bail just before the meeting would begin.

Ara, a girl who was normally dutiful to the core, was running late. Since her father's return from being held captive, she had been unusually flighty and distractable. While her father had never been overly expressive, she noted that something had changed since his return. He seemed a bit more down. Sad, almost. And for Ara, always the logical thinker, the answer was to find a cure. She had given him the rest of her wilted store of lavender, instructing him to chew the leaves but never to swallow them; she had found him juniper berries and let him eat them only when he felt pain in his joints; and she was searching for a plant that might help him sleep better at night and give him pleasant dreams. For this young girl, herbs were the solution to everything -- for all of life's problems.

Perhaps her rigid dedication to her chosen path might someday be her downfall, but for now there was no pulling her away from it. She had moved her small store of herbs away from her family's den -- it really was getting too small for everyone -- into a hiding place that she was certain no one would find. She was just organizing them when she heard the Queen's call. She would hurry and finish her task before responding to the call, heading toward the gathering. Loccian was a lovely woman, one of the few adults outside of her family that she had met. She was her mentor, too, and she was happy she was Queen of the Kingdom. Happily she would come to sit between her parents, smiling slightly as she directed her blue gaze to the Queen and her family.

She would follow right after her parents, head held high and tail wagging. Though they were able to walk around and explore their home, Celeste was especially happy about hearing the summoning howl. Rather than having to meet her pack members one by one whenever she was away from the den, she would be able to meet all of them! Every single wolf in the pack, she would be able to take in what they looked like, maybe learn their names, and if possible, she hoped to talk to a few of them to see what they were like.

Upon arrival the youngster would remain with her family, sitting near her mother, beaming as her amber gaze looked over all the wolves that had gathered. What made her tail thump loudly against the ground though was seeing that there were other pups! More people to play and adventure with! A playful grin would spread over the girls mouth as she kneeded the ground, anxious to meet the others.

She arrives at the meeting late, having been out sniffing at herbs again. Amalia has been a distant figure in Seracia, and she regrets it. The world is simply so broad and beautiful, and she enjoys seeing it, taking it in and learning to love it entirely. She arrives in time, and sits towards the back of the meeting, so as not to disturb it. She knows there has been a shift in ranks, and she has yet to decide how she feels about it. Whilst she has no doubts that Miss Loccian is capable, it feels weird to be under the command of somebody other than her own parents.

Alas, she decides that she will trust in the grey woman for now. After all, her parents were trusting her, so why shouldn?t she? She reclines onto her haunches and relaxes, bright eyes observing those around her, embracing the sights and smells as they came at her.

finally addresses the whole pack in paragraph 6

Sitting atop the hay pile she would watch her children and mate take their spots before her, seeing all of them causing a smile to spread over her lips.

One by one she would see her members show up, the first being Miss Malia who Loccian had recently accepted into the pack, dipping her head to the woman when she greeted her Queen. Next would be Dragon, complimenting her children, and Aeil coming up with him and awwing at the sight of her family. Loccian would smile shyly, dipping her head to the both of them. ?I am well, thank you.? She would answer Aeil. An unknown women with interesting markings on her face would show up, maybe somebody Maverick had accepted when he was ruling, Squall would show up after her. The sight of the man would bring a sigh from her, feeling guilty for mating with Gerhardt without a word to the man.

She would give a small shake of her head to dismiss her thoughts, the sight of Destruction bringing the smile back. One by one they all would trail on over to the meeting spot, pups and adults she had come to know about over time. Another wolf she didn't quite meet, markings beneath the eyes.

And then he showed up. The smile would vanish from Loccian, the glow around her fading. Grey orbs would quickly settle upon a dark form that sneaked towards the group of wolves, her gaze like steel as he moved around the edge, sitting in the very back. A dark aura would surround the usually friendly Queen, disappointment and anger clear on her face, giving the man, her brother, a death glare. He had a lot of explaining to do, and he would see a side of her nobody else saw except for him and Squall, like that day she came upon the two fighting. He would be dealt with after the meeting.

She would pull her gaze away from Ponitfex, watching as more members approached. One on particular would bring the smile back, Faolan approaching her family. He congratulated Gerhardt on the family, saying she was very nice, the pardoning himself and going to take a seat next to his family. One of Maverick's newest additions would even greet her, which Loccian would give a dip of her head to. A few more members... and them Bronze. The moment she spotted the man surprise and guilt would wash over her. The man had been a prisoner in Glaciem after the war between them and Valhalla, and she had been unable to get him back. Loccian felt horrible, for not at least going to the ice kingdom and work out something. But what could she have done? She had nothing, her members would mean nothing to the cold wolf, and there was no way she would give up the kingdom.

With everyone here, she would finally begin, explain why she had summoned the Kingdom. Head would rise, grey orbs looking over each wolf gathered before her. She would clear her throat for a moment, before finally speaking. "We have quite a group here." She would smile as she gazed at the wolves. "I have summoned you all today, for an important pack meeting. One that even pups should know about since it will involve them." Her tail would give a light thump against the hay pile. "Let me begin with the newest additions to the Kingdom, officially out and exploring their home." The grey woman would first look to Tahlia, her gaze dropping down to her children, Anais, Jakart, and Nako. "Miss Tahlia's children, Anais, Jakart and Nako." Her gaze wold then shift over to Maverick and Epiphron. "Maverick and Epiphron had another litter, this time two healthy boys and a healthy girl. Caeto, Finiarel, and Celeste." She would dip her head to them like she did Tahlia. Her gaze would then shift to her own children, a bright smile upon her lips, a proud glow about her. "And my own children, born in the last days of Winter. Three healthy boys and a single female. Elias, Daedalus, Nizhoni and Enola." A warmth would be in her gentle tones, giving her children a loving gaze even though they were in front of her.

Clearing her throat she would look back to the group with head raised. "Not only did we get children as new additions, but we also got a new member, and three have returned to us, two who were taken by the north after the war." First she would motion towards Malia. "Miss Malia is now apart of our Kingdom..." Gaze would then motion towards Themisto and Bronze. "Give a warm welcome to Themisto and Bronze, tough warriors who were sent to aid Valhalla and taken prisoner. They were greatly missed while away, be sure to remind them of this." Yes, she didn't want them to feel like they were forgotten, and that they were actually quite missed by their home. For a moment her gaze would harden as she looked to Pontifex. "My brother, Pontifex has finally returned also, having aided in the war as well." A hint of coldness would be in her tones, obviously not pleased by his sudde appearance.

But now she had more important things to tell the pack, the real reason why she had summoned them all. Loccian was still quite unsure how it would affect them all, but she hoped it would bring good. "I apologize for this, but everyone is being demoted. it is not because you are lacking any skills or activity towards the Kingdom, it is because ranks will be changed, to better fit and identify tasks you will be given to contribute to our growing kingdom." Her gaze would mostly fall upon those who held a higher rank, most had earned their spot, but she would make sure they got something back for their loyalty and hard work. "Infante will be staying as is, but a few ranks will be added in to tier three of the Kingdom, those skilled in their area. Abbot will be our lead healer, Vintenar our lead knight, and Villein will be lead hunter. Once two have been chosen for these ranks, I will be adding another name beside them for those of the male or female gender." She would pause, allowing this information to sink in before continuing. "Above these ranks however, but not quite with our betas, will be a special unit for the Kingdom. Constables, you will be our protectors, fighters who must be willing to be sent out to battle, to protect our Kingdom, our home." Her tone would grow serious bringing up this rank, they needed strong warriors to protect all these pups, and hose growing old. "You will be important to the Kingdom."

Letting all that sink in Loccian would gaze over the wolves, taking in a deep breath, and hoping that once she delivered everything she wanted to say, that people would volunteer to become Seracia's protectors. "Now, making up a majority of our population, we will no longer have esquires or dames. Instead, it will be made up with priests who will be healers, knights that will be warriors in training to become part of the Constables, or just remain as a warrior that will not be sent out to fight. Serfs will be our hunters, and barons will be our speakers, or advisors." She would allow people to speak once she was done, see which task her members were best at then assign the appropriate rank. "For new members, who are either under two years or don't quite know which task they are best as, will be Clergy. Yearlings will be Gentries, training in a field before getting assigned a task. And after them will be the children, Progeny will remain for the royal family, and Filius for the rest of the Kingdom." So much going on, so many changes. "With such a large Kingdom, it is expected that punishment will occur, so I have added a rank with the Jester. Peasant, this will be mainly for temporary punishment, while Jester will be for those who have committed crimes or continued disobeyment of the laws. By the sounds of it, Peasants, will indeed be for younger members. I expect the adults to stay out of trouble. Because these are for those causing trouble or disobeying those higher up, they are to be monitored at all times, mainly the Jesters. If you spot them getting into something they shouldn't, or leaving the packlands, you are to alert a higher rank."

"I apologize for all this new information." She would add with a nervous laugh, she didn't mean to flood them. "Please hang on a bit more, I just have a few things left."

"Moving on to our Mentoring system, I will be assigning new mentors with new apprentices. If you are unhappy with who you have received, speak up and I will try to change you arrangement." Grey gaze would fall upon the younger members of the Kingdom, not wanting the children to be afraid to speak up. "Rather than be apprenticed in one area, I will be offering Mentors to take in two children, they will have their primary mentor for what they are interested in, then a secondary as extra." She didn't want them to be limited in their field like she was, only knowing how to heal rather than fight or hunt more than just small or slow prey.

With this bit of news, she was sure the pack would be thrilled, or at least, she hoped so. Her body posture would straighten up, tail lightly thumping at her side as she looked to the group with a large smile. "We are growing, becoming quite the Kingdom, a lovely sight. And so, I would like to announce that we will be expanding our lands, offering a larger area for our kingdom! If you have spotted any suitable areas for us to claim, please speak up!"

Many others would arrive after him, Squall merely sitting there waiting for this to be over. He didn't really want to be here, but his loyalty to his pack and the silent vows he had made would keep him in place. It wasn't her fault, after all. And it wasn't like he had a chance in the first place. He expected too much of his life, hoped too much for his life to finally take a turn for the better. And of course, he flew too close to the sun and got burned. His heart crushed to the ground, but he was learning again to close his heart out and not let anyone near it. Harsh thoughts, things he hadn't really thought about in a while. But he supposed it couldn't be helped. He would move on eventually, forget the hurt and the pain that came with falling in love and never wanted to go through it again. The last of the pack trickled in, Squall giving a side glance to someone who came to sit near him. Icy blues fell on Rohini, watching as her form pressed into the ground. Was she always this fearful? Perhaps there was something he could do to help her with that...gently, he reached towards her. Nose gently touching her shoulder as he motioned for her to sit closer, hopefully he'd be able to help boost her confidence. "There's no need to worry, I'll be right here okay? Confidence." He whispered to her.

At last, the meeting would start. Ears shifted as did his blue eyes as he cast a slight gaze at Loccian. Her voice was still good to hear, as much as he hated to admit. And he almost wished that his current life so far was just a nightmare, and he was waiting to wake up. But of course, this was reality. Someone like her would never be with someone like him. He simply wasn't good enough. And yet, he wanted something to fill that void. Perhaps with the new changes, he could find it if not elsewhere. Taking a breath to calm himself, he'd wait till she was finished. And moments later, when everything had been announced he'd prepare to speak.

Before his mouth opened, however, his gaze would find the form of a familiar small figure. Enola, Loccian's little girl. There was something he knew about her, and he was curious as to whether Loccian knew. He would tell her later in private, about his suspicion of her daughter. Although he was reluctant to, he wanted to make sure the girl was safe...since their meeting, she held a place in his heart now, and he wanted to make sure she would be safe. He'd watch over her like a Guardian, it was what Ellone would have wanted. Returning his gaze up to Loccian, he would speak confidently and with no bitterness or anger. Instead, his voice came out neutral, calm. Which surprised him. Was it because of his new thoughts of Rohini and Enola? Of wanting to protect and be something they could look up to? It would only leave him wondering.

"Loccian, if you don't mind. I would like to request a chance for Vintenar. I'll do what I must to get there, and you of all others know I am an able bodied warrior." At that mention, he cast a glance towards Pontifex and then back to her, a slight grin on his face at the memory of their first meeting. "I would also like to request...that Rohini, be my apprentice. And...Enola as well, when she gets old enough to train. I believe I can teach them confidence, and the skills to protect and defend themselves when the time comes." Upon finishing his requests, he sat tall with a gaze unwavering. Confident and hopeful. "I must also speak with you after this meeting. It's important." After the meeting, he would tell her about Enola's suspected blindness. Doubtful that she knew, for she had made no mention of it.

I'M GONNA BE THE MAIN EVENT

like no king was before

A fear had been realized, things were changing in Seracia. However, it wasn't his worst fear, not anymore. He would take a deep breath and keep his countenance from showing his uncertainty, allowing the new and rightful Queen of Seracia to do as she willed. He wondered where he would stand in her favor, but dared not ask for fear of the answer. A glance would be given to his beloved as Loccian continued on, naming the new ranks and order of things, as well as talking of continuing the mentoring program and - expanding the Kingdom. Emerald eyes would light up, and when she was through he would offer his suggestion aloud. "I recommend the Buffalo Knolls become part of our bounds, it connects to our Kingdom without a gap and would provide ample enough prey to feed upon so that our cattle population might replenish." Perhaps no one else thought the cattle to be rainy day prey as he did, but he hoped they would come to that realization soon. Not every pack had a live in herd of wild cattle in the event of a lack of other more familiar prey. "I also offer my services as a mentor to any whom require one."
