He would toss her fish in hopes that she liked it before turning back to catch his own dinner. If he hadn't been hungry himself, he would've politely walked over to deposit the fish at her paws, but since he was pretty hungry himself, he needed to hand her her food quickly before he missed his opportunity to catch his own meal. Golden gems were redirected to the rive before him, just in time to catch another fish coming his way. Muscles tensed, jaws parted and ready. He waited a moment, until the fish was directly in his line of sight. Nape snaked forward with precision, jaws clamping down on the wriggling body, one hard snap severing the spine, the fish going limp in the esquire's jaw as he pulled away from the water, droplets clinging to his chin and muzzle.

Shaking himself free of excess water, the dual-pelted man turned towards Rayne, noticing that she'd gone just a few paces down the shore. Following her need, the man plopped down before her, dropping his catch in front of him limbs folding beneath him as he lowered himself to lie in front of her, paws grasping at his meal as he tore into it, taking a good chunk from the middle, chewing a few times before swallowing. Fish wasn't the best thing around, but it sure did satisfy. Audits rotated forward with attention, the healer's thanks registering with the man. It was my pleasure. He gave her a warm smile before continuing with his meal, daggers slicing easily through the pink meat.
