your brother was a simp. oh and he's missing

Hattori moved to the centre of the maze, leaf litter crunching underpaw as thunder rumbled in the distance. The shade of the trees protected Tojo from the heat of the sun, but the air was still thick with the humidity, a feeling Hattori had grown accustomed to many seasons ago. Though Beru's absence had been noted, it didn't seem to be something he ought to worry about, but now that he had spoken with the Armada girl and Briar he saw no reason to offer aid in seeking the boy out. Even if only to truly make sure he wasn't stuck somewhere, hurt and unable to make his way to safety. Sedna's lack of urgency told Hattori a lot of what he needed to know, no one knew a child better than their mother and if Sedna was not concerned then Hattori would take note of that. But still, he had pledged to help and he knew some, if not many of Beru's siblings would be willing to do this, if not for Tojo itself than their brother.
Coming to a standstill amongst the looming trees, he tilted his head back and called out, his voice deep and rumbling like the cracks of thunder in the distance.

Hattori's rumbling howl matches the depth of the thunder that rolls in from the ocean. It is one that Kuroo cannot ignore. He had been lying along the bay, watching the water swirl and ripple, mounting in activity as the storm drew closer. Content to hang with Saru and Arne, he was not expecting to be needed. Excusing himself from his company, Kuroo makes his way from the bay into the bamboo. His pace is not hurried, but also not slow, or that it appears he is wandering. There is purpose in steps as he follows the paths and scent toward Hattori.
Thankfully it won't take long until he is approaching the looming figure of the Kaicho. "Is something wrong?" Kuroo questions as he comes to sit nearby.
kuroo's tamarin, saru, should be assumed near/on him at all times.

Tachi came when called. It sounded serious but pretty much everything said or did felt that way, so he wasn't particularly concerned as he arrived on the scene. Beaten only by Kuroo. He hadn't noticed that his brother and sister had gone missing, it wasn't like his littermates were exactly close and Rheum had left forever ago too. Some stayed and others left, it wasn't something that kept him up at night, tossing and turning in his den. He glanced to the woods behind them, the trees so numerous they blended together if he looked for too long. He figured Hattori wouldn't explain till the others got here, as he didn't like to repeat himself.
"Probably." Tachi guessed, his tone dry.

Hattori sounded... serious. Not necessarily grave, but he certainly must be asking something of them. Something that would be no small task, judging by the boys that had gathered before the Kaicho. Tate arrives a few minutes after everyone else, an apologetic dip of his head toward the alpha. His apologies for being late. He'd been out by the borders, investigating the scent of a bear that was closer than he'd like to their borders. Tate tried to hide the fact he was out of breath, but fuck, it had been quite the jog to bring him here.
His siblings had begun to leave, starting the rest of their lives and all that. Tate had stepped up within the ranks as well, spending much of his time on the road, collecting what information he could. His return home was supposed to be brief this time, to check on his mother and younger siblings, to relay new information to Hattori. Let him know about the other Auster pack, Ethne. Let him know about the increased aggression from the predators, too. Shit, he should get ma to look at his head injury too, now that he thought about it. Well-- there was time for that later. What news did Hattori have for them? It had to be serious, and for once, Tate is devoid of smart remarks. His gaze rests on the Kaicho, and he waits.

The boys-and Kuroo- gathered in a timely enough fashion. Quick enough that the Kaicho didn't feel a need to remind them it was impolite to keep him waiting, and instead he was swift to move matters along. Get this little meeting started before more hours of the day were wasted. He turned to adress them all, a mismatch of gathered colours, some clearly more koi than others. Some clearly not.
"I am sure you have noticed that Himawari and Burūberu are no longer in Tojo. " In fact, now that Hattori thought about it, he wasn't sure if Alvar had even met them at all. He knew of them at least, saving him that introductory conversation. " Your Mother is not overly concerned, but one of your brothers...friends requested assistance in looking for him." Hence this little gathering, quick and to the point, as all things should be. "You are to make your way to the Hallows and convene with his friend, a girl from the Armada and assist her in looking for your siblings. "
He did not know how long she wished to look or the scale of the search area would be, but he imagined those were all details they could hash out later. He was just here to let them know what he expected.
"I expect you to act with Tojo's best interests at heart. Any questions? "

His pale gaze turns to Tachi as he enters and replies. A brow raises and he can't help but wag his tail a little. Even if Tachi was a little shit from time to time, Kuroo loved his siblings all the same. Alvar and Tate show up as well and Kuroo smiles at them too. Even a little tail wag because when was Kuroo's tail not wagging? Thankful that they didn't take long to show up, the fisherwolf finally turns his attention back to Hattori as the Kaicho begins to speak. The words that leave him are not inaccurate. In the time that he has come to know Sedna, he has realized that she is more hands-off in her style of parenting. While he didn't disagree with her, he had wondered if she ever worried for them.
Kuroo's ears do perk when Hattori mentions that Beru's "friend" is concerned and looking for him. If someone had actually come looking, did that mean something terrible had happened to his half-sibling? The last time Kuroo had left the bamboo's safety, he had lost someone close to him. He felt unsure leaving to look for Beru and the bad things that might happen. His expression steels for a moment before switching back to its usual relaxed and happiness with only a slight twinge of concern.
"Are the Hallows expecting us or just his friend?" Kuroo asks though he's sure the Hallows wouldn't turn them away if they came cordially.
kuroo's tamarin, saru, should be assumed near/on him at all times.
