Something dangerous was drawing closer to Tojo-Kai. Akito couldn’t explain what or who it was, but it was something he wanted to prepared for. The Kaicho had directed him to train and hone his skills which he could do while things were sorted out. Off he went into the oaks to find a decent sized clearing. Pushing the larger fallen logs out of the way, the young wolf stood in the center to admire his handy work. He noticed how soft the ground was beneath his paws. The way the wind shifted between the trees and rustled the nearby bushes. His eyes draw up to the canopy where branches bent in the wind and birds fluttered about. Calm, quiet, and serene. Just how he liked it. As he admired, the sound of someone approaching caught his attention. Turning to the noise, he settled into a defense position just in case. |

She had finally returned for good. She had been absent for a long while, though time had passed her by so quickly that she hadn't quite realized just how long she'd truly been absent. She had come and gone for seasons, but most of her time had been spent looking for any of her siblings who might have made it out this way and who had finally decided to leave her family's empire. But no such luck would be had. They were probably all still back home fighting amongst themselves on who got to take the throne when their father passed. Surely that would be soon...It had been at least 3 years since she had left everything behind.
For the first time, she visited Tojo's newest land. She didn't know who was in the pack anymore. Who had stayed or left, moved on, or what all had changed. She felt bad for not having told Hanzo, but she was sure he'd understand. After all, as far as she could tell, a lot of the Koi wolves liked to keep to themselves for the most part. As she moved further into the Oaks, she swore she heard movement somewhere within. The Princess Koi went to investigate, and as she drew near the source, she was met with a young, apprehensive boy she had not yet met. "Easy. I am one of you." She said as she stopped in her tracks. It was a boy she had yet to meet, though that was a given considering how long she'd been gone for.

His grey eyes move quickly to the obsidian and pastel woman who shows herself. Though she says she is one of them, he is unsure at first. Her scent, while covered in Tojo, is not familiar to him and neither are her features. At first, his ears flick backward before shifting to the side as he tilts his head slightly. Well, if she was truly a part of Tojo maybe she would want to spar with him... Akito narrows his eyes, assessing her, silently and apprehensively. His weight shifts subtly as he decides on what to do. Finally, after a very pregnant stretch of silence, he speaks. "Spar with me. Prove you are one of us," his voice is straight forward, no-nonsense, quite like Hattori's. Watching her, he prepares for her next move. |
