Kina

It took her a few days to work up the nerve to head over to the Oaks. It was a part of Tojo territory, true, but in order to access it she needed to cross through unclaimed land. In this case to go through the forest of the very strange trees. She took a deep breath and then booked it to the oaks, moving as swiftly as she could until she reached the safety of Tojo territory. Now to set about her task. Kina had sparred a number of her siblings and a few Tojo wolves, but now that they had visitors from a northern pack she was keen to spar a few of them as well. Kina hunted for a good spot, eventually settling on a nice clearing that was lightly dappled with sunlight. She tipped back her head and howled for a challenger, eager to continue her lessons.

Lumine was enjoying her time in the oaks as much as she could. Eager to return home, she was trying to help clean up the camp area as best as possible. It was taking longer than expected because her unruly brothers were well, unruly. Muttering under her breath that they needed better manners, she was surprised when her ears caught the sound of someone calling. Perking up, she listens. A call for a fight! Oh, she would love that! Her tail wags happily behind her as she makes her way through the forest. Breaking through the trees, she stops as soon as she sees the snow coated girl. Standing tall and proud, Lumine exudes confidence. "I will take you on, miss!" She calls out before marching closer to her. "I am Lumine Trygg, Princess of Heidinn, daughter to Vidarr and Tenshi Tyrgg," her voice is clear and crisp like the snap of a cold winter wind. "Since you requested, I think you should go first," Lumine even bows respectfully with an extended paw before righting herself to grin mischievously at Kina. LUMINE TRYGG

Kina

Kina's ears perked up as her call was answered, this time by a princess of the northern pack. The girl introduced herself as Lumine Trygg and gave Kina the first move. Kina bowed in respectful greeting. "I am honored to spar you. My name is Hattori Kina. Princess of Tojo-Kai." It was exciting to meet, let alone spar another princess. Perhaps they would have time to explore and talk after the fight. Kina set her defenses, making sure to pin her ears and tuck her tail. In addition her hackles were raised. She balanced her weight among her limbs and then attacked. Most of her fighting this far had been skirting and timid. This time she charged straight on, shifting just slightly as she neared. She aimed to line her chest up with the front Lumine's right shoulder and slam her chest into it. Having such abnormally sturdy bones she was learning to use them to her advantage. At the same time she twisted her head to try and nip the side of the other girl's head. She still didn't have the hang of combination attacks but she was determined to keep trying.

A quiet gasp leaves her as Kina introduces herself. Another princess! How wonderful! It truly was amazing being able to spar with another princess! While it was fun sparring with her brothers and even some of the Tojo-Kai boys, getting to spar with Kina made her all that more excited. Unable to hide her smile, she takes a deep breath and focuses. This was serious business! Spreading her paws slightly and planting them firmly into the ground, she tried to remember everything her papa had taught her so far. Tuck the tail, flatten the ears, puff her hackles, and even try to get her head slightly lowered so that she could keep her balance easier and protect the delicate areas of her neck and head. Ready for the battle, she meets Kina's attack with a similar one of her own. Pushing off, she heads straight for the other girl. While Kina was smart enough to dip slightly to the side so her chest could be aimed at her, Lumine was going for a straight head bashing. Tilting her chin a little tighter to her neck, her teeth almost begin to chatter as Kina's chest slams into her shoulder. Though she lets out a little 'oof' noise, she doesn't let it deter her enough. With Kina so close and grasping onto her cheek, Lumine tosses her head to the side in an attempt to clash her head against Kina's. Kina

Kina collided with the other girl, winching as her chest slammed into the other's shoulder. While her bones were quite sturdy her flesh could only hold up against so much force and she just knew she was going to have a good bruise for her efforts. Still it was worth it for she had a successful strike and managed to snag the other girls cheek. Kina only had a moment to consider what she'd do next for Lumine violently tossed her head and bashed it into Kina's. The sudden motion caused her to loose her meager grip on the girl's cheek. The knock hurt but she kept pushing through, letting her head fall down naturally from the blow as she lashed out to try and grab Lumine's wrist in her jaws.

This other girl was good! Their chest and shoulders still pressed together, Lumine is left a bit dizzy from her head bashing toward Kina. So much so, she's surprised when she feels Kina's teeth grasp around her ankle. Trying to keep her paws planted so the other girl can't force her off balance, she continues to try and push forward into Kina. Lumine even attempts to twist slightly so that her shoulder is pressing more into Kina than her chest is. Letting out a determined growl, Lumine reaches forward and tries to grab ahold of Kina's scruff. If she can keep ahold of Kina somehow, maybe it will prevent Kina from knocking her off balance!
