Loss. Víðarr has allowed himself to feel it, and he would only continue to. The only way out was through, right? Grief and loss, things that he doesn't know how to explain. Words that the viking king doesn't know how to use, and he's not sure he wants to. Being there for his grandchildren through it all may have been one of the most important things, one of the things that keeps him together. If Víðarr could focus on them, then he wouldn't have to focus on himself. On his own feelings.
A warm, early-autumn day stretched around their shoulders. Víðarr wasn't about to waste it. Taking time to spend with each of the kids following the breaking of the news had been on his mind. Settling on Unagi as today's companion, the viking king let go a call. There was plenty to do-- carcasses to skin, hides to tan, or hell they could go hunting. Anything she wanted, as long as they were busy.
This character is unstable. Blanket TW for mental health themes applies to all posts.
Víðarr has two Karelian bear dogs and a white morph tawny owl. Assume they're within calling distance unless otherwise stated.
Víðarr speaks with a dense Swedish accent.
