A voice rang out, declaring that they were next. Siduri's gaze swung to meet both the voice and the visage of a large wolf. Size didn't matter all that much. She bested dire wolves all the time, right? This wouldn't be any different. As the tusked fae ran towards her, swinging those curved pieces of bone, Sid skipped backwards, raising her chin to allow the tusks to slide right across the pearlescent scales that ran from chin to chest. From behind, both badgers rushed in, seeking to grab one hind paw each, thus altering their opponents balance. "Speech"

HENBANE AERIS The girl is quick, and Hen is left stumbling forward. Dancing out of range, a little frustrated growl in her chest. Tusks make contact with a plate of scales-- fascinating, actually. Would they be willing to let her get a closer look later? Hen wouldn't dwell, couldn't dwell, couldn't get distracted in the moment. The badgers come for her hind legs in turn, and Hen kicks out. She stumbles forward once more, trying to maintain balance, trying to throw her shoulder into the girl before her. Things had gotten interesting quick, Hen would give her that much. Raiding is new for the girl, and the eruption of activity around her is sheer chaos. Well and truly in her element.

The larger wolf falters as she'd hope and Siduri takes advantage. She sidesteps as the shoulder comes at her, taking a bit of a swipe across her own shoulder. As the tusked lady passes, Sid opens her jaws and aims to bite into her opponents left hip, one paw coming up to wrap around the woman's back left limb to hopefully stop her momentum. If she tripped, yay. If she didn't... at least Sid might get a bite in, right? That was the whole point of a raid. Bite, bite, fight, fight, someone comes away with a prize and some clout. Strai won his first fight, and he moved away from his opponent, taking a moment to assess the battle moving on around him. Where was Delphi? Before his eyes could land on her, another wolf was taking up the challenge he posed. Still standing among the wolves of Hemlock.

The colourful wolf growled at him, and Strai returned the gesture. He pushed his weight forward, prepared to meet the weight of his opponent. Instead, the golden eyed wolf strikes his shoulder. Strai turns his head, trying to do a side-swipe of his cheek spurs, even as he raised a paw to shove back against their own shoulder.

Excited. Wake is far too excited, far too pleased with himself. Light on his feet, moving easily as he dances with the tall boy. Everything according to plan, everything in perfect time. It feels good. Fighting feels good, rising to the occasion with the rest of the Raiders. Grinning and rolling his shoulders, tossing his head, Wake is all too pleased.

He catches the man's cheek spurs across his own, but even that, feels good. The laudanum dulling the pain, all Wake can feel is the pure excitement that comes from raiding. Deftly dancing away from the paw that lifts, Wake uses the opening. Moving to slam into the pale man's body, darting, coming in close. Hopefully it's enough to send him sprawling, knock him from his feet. Wake is a little manic in the moment, having way too much fun.

As the fight started, Strai felt the resistance against his cheek spurs that told him they had found their mark. He didn’t let the sensation distract him from the rest of the fight. He could feel his opponent start to pull away. Sure enough, Wake danced away, pulling back from the spurs and avoiding the swipe of his paw.

Strai readjusted his balance, pushing forward to absorb the impact when the smaller wolf dove back into him again. It rocked him, but he managed to keep his paws. Since his paws were firmly planted, he attempted to use his teeth this time. Going for the other wolfs scruff in an attempt to pull him to the side.
