Vesper was finally started to get some proper mobility back in her life, and was moving on in her new life in the Armada. Her master first and foremost was Oleander, and while he wasn’t a terribly scary wolf, the Warlord Basilisk had come along and impressed the importance of behaviour and remaining within the pack lands to her. She’d never met a wolf so large or pointy in her life.
She had an arm load of freshly tanned bedding for the newly made infirmary and was trotting through the Col with the materials thrown over her shoulder. Her back still ached from the lashes and bear lacerations, so her going was slow and steady.

Wynter slipped into the armor she had been working on all morning, turning and flexing to make sure nothing rubbed badly and seeing what parts needed to be adjusted. Given the fact that this was the first time she had ever made something like this she was pretty proud of how it was coming out. The layered pieces of leather were going to need some finishings and a couple little things to make it pretty, but it was probably good enough to be functional which was all she really needed for the upcoming raid.
She kept it on as she went down through the Col just to get used to wearing it and as she went she spotted the purple-hued woman she had seen with Ollie a few times. It looked like she had quite the load of bedding and Wynter didn't have anything else to do so she walked over to her, saying, "Would you like some help?" before she could answer Wynter was already taking half of the load, tossing them across her own back.

As she stepped slowly through the Col, Vesper startled at an unexpected voice. Outside of the Warlord himself, her master Oleander, and Wilder, she was yet to interact with any other wolves in the Armada. She hadn’t had the opportunity, having been bed bound for most of her time here.
She struggled for a moment as her load started to slip off her back, and despite the other wolf swooping in to grab half the bedding, she was sweating with pain by the time she had readjusted the supplies. “My Lady! You don’t have to take those” She said, hoping Basilisk didn’t wander by and see this. She was assuming of course that this wolf wasn’t also a slave, but perhaps she was wrong.

Wynter realized as the purple-hued woman called her 'lady' that she must be one of the pack's slaves, but that didn't phase her. "It's alright! I don't mind," she insisted with a smile. It was obvious she was struggling quite a bit and Wynter wasn't going to just walk by and let her keep struggling like that, slave or not. She didn't really like the idea of slaves anyway, but she knew it had long been a part of their pack so it wasn't something she was going to fight. Once they were both settled with their portion of the bedding Wynter nodded for the other woman to continue leading the way and she fell into step beside her. "I'm Wynter," she told her, looking over at her with a grin. "What's your name?" She liked to know everyone in the Armada, but especially anyone that was going to be spending time with her brother.

After a moment's delay, Vesper started up again, casting the occasional curious glance at the woman beside her. She was starting to notice a pattern in the face markings of the wolves here. Was it an Armada thing, or a family thing? She believed Basilisk and Oleander were related, but she wasn’t entirely sure.
“Vesper, My Lady” she gave her name back, tucking this wolf’s name away in case she needed it for the future. Her usual sass was hidden for the moment, though no doubt she would start to forget Bas’s warning and it would peek out again like a sunrise. Trouble was just too deeply intoned into her nature.

"Nice to meet you, Vesper," she replied with a little nod, committing the name to memory. She followed Vesper's lead till they reached the space that looked like it was being set up into an infirmary. Ah, well, that explained why Vesper was doing this if she was working for Oleander. Of all of her siblings he certainly got the gene for healing more than the rest of them. She slid the bedding off of her back and placed it down before turning to help Vesper do the same. She wasn't a healer, but she could tell when someone was in pain. "If you need help with anything else just let me know, okay?" With that little side quest done she gave Vesper a grin and then went out to go back to her armor fitting and hopefully put the final touches on it for the raid.
