It was surprising how much her travels had taken out of her. When she first began, her muscles ached nightly and she found herself struggling with running long distances. There was many a time she considered turning back, but stubbornness prevented her from yielding. Now, Myrcella was much leaner and a bit more muscular than when she'd began, and felt a bit more confident as she navigated these new lands. She hadn't met many wolves yet, but was aware of a great many packs settling these lands. In which would her future lie? She wasn't quite sure.
Now, she'd arrived at a beach unlike any she'd seen before. In the high sunlight, the sands sparkled and twinkled as they clashed with the waves, the waters themselves shimmering as they retreated and drove forward once again. The she-wolf picked her way down to the tide, her nose sniffing at the black sand as she did so. Whatever this beach comprised of, it was certainly beautiful. She stopped at the water's edge and let the waves wash over her paws, enjoying the tingling chill that it sent through her body. Perhaps it was best if she stayed here awhile. Who knew what kind of visitors this glimmering beach brought.
note: not my best starter but hopefully it'll do lol
