Syrinx did not take commitment lightly and he would not be so impressed (if at all) by the grovelling boy before him. He was no warrior--and the Adravendi man had half a mind to dismiss him. To let him know his body was useless was what he wanted to say, but it had not been how he was raised. He was raised to believe that anyone could become what they desired most. Anyone could become plentifully strong. Even this one--but Syrinx did not have the time to baby him when his initial steps of his empire were only beginning to form. A low smirk crossed chiseled features as he nodded his head. The silent message was ' you've pledged loyalty to me. should you forget that...I will remind you.', but the words that came forth were stronger--bolder, affirmative and giving, "You will be a medic unto my kingdom until I see fit to make use of you in another department. If you do not hold these skills I suggest you find a tutor. The useless will not last long," it was a threat and it was the truth, the truth he had been all too willing to give. Syrinx turned and the massive Arkhos made his exit. |

She felt herself fall to her sisters victory and her sister knew it. Jaws would release her sister, her body going limp enough for her sister to release her. A growl would rumble in response to her sisters words. For now. Things would change. And soon. With a quick sweeping glance around her, the girl noted that most of her sisters surrounded her and the brute was gone, lingering vaguely with that of her fathers. Apparently much had happened within a few minutes. She would pick herself up, favoring her broken toes. Russet bodice would shaking, freeing herself of dirt and debris. The back of her neck stung from her sisters bite, but other than that she appeared to be alright. The russet girl would linger only for a moment, giving her sisters a chance before she would turn and leave, retreating to her own little cave that she called home.
