The red sky seemed to have sent some of the traders to ground lately. Ollie was confused as to why it was so empty as he was starting to set up his own stand with tinctures to trade.
A distantly familiar honk and a shuffle of feathers made him pause and look about to try and spot who was honking. A small figure was padding into the Market he could swear was his sister Whisper... That wasn't right... she was away with their mother... And... his dream said she was never coming back...
He blinked, not sure why his brain was giving him this hallucination. The market... strangely empty... it must be a dream...
"Whisper?" He dared to ask the air softly as if to himself. The bottles in his hands felt real enough... He shoved the tinctures on the table and leaped as fast as he could toward her. "Whisper! Sister! Is that really you?" He looked around, was he going to be stared at for speaking to an apparition? Tears forming in his eyes, he reached out to try and touch her shoulder. He never got time to get to know his sister much because of his childhood sickness. He had several hallucinations of her while he was sick with the blight. Was the universe giving him another chance to know her?

His companion had fetched him, and he came as quickly as he could. Tearing across the stone and did not stop until he reached her. Almost immediately, his paws were in her. Examining her for signs of injuries or distress before drawing her into a winged hug, leaving room for Ollie at her shoulder “whisper, honey, I've missed you, we all have.” He said, his voice choking with emotion.
“Your brother, your… your mother?” He asked, trying not to overwhelm her but utterly overcome with his own emotions. A part of him had concluded they would never come home. A thought that had wormed it's way into his heart and almost been the death of him.
