Forgotton Paths
Seasonal - Navigation - Lumine (Bunni)
The seasons were changing and pretty rapidly at that. Cyan blue pools scanning the area around him. The sound of mud and soggy lands making weird sounds as the brute continued to make his way threw the swamp lands. He was by far lost. More lost than he's ever been, The only good thing is the brute was camouflaged with his surroundings. The feline like spots that adorned his entire bodice making it seem that the masculine was just a walking tree or something. The burnt orange outlined facial features turning as he tilted his cranium. Knowing all to well that he needed to get out of this damn area. His prints behind him were already disappearing. So he could not turn back around and follow the way that he came. He growled unpleasantly to himself.
The sound was rugged and gruff. Black printed ears swiftly turn back against his cranium, As pink tongue would lap at his nose before he lowered his skull to try and follow scents out of the swamp lands. Nothing seemed to be working in his favor. He was lost. Damn it all to hell, he growled once more. Vayne was almost always so quiet, and watchful. But lately his mind has been elsewhere. He known that his sisters band had to find new territory. And that was adding some stress to him. Maybe if the masculine was lucky enough he would or possibly could run into someone that would know where the hell they were located.
He kept his gaze locked on what was ahead of him, giving a gruff woof if anyone could hear him. He didn't know, but hoped that someone would. Only if he was that lucky, fur along his back laid straight up against his entire spinal region. Ears twisting and turning upon his cranium as to listen for anything or anyone. Maybe, just maybe he would be lucky enough to run into someone or something that could give him a sense of direction.

The heat drove everyone even the earth mad it appeared. And now! Here Vayne was. Lost and confused. Sure he marked some tree's but he was too far away from them that he didn't have no idea where the hell he was located. Twin peaks shift against his skull as he wondered where the fuck he was. Releasing a deepened growl. He turned to see that of another. Possibly close to his own age. The masculine would honestly rather deal with family than some stranger. There was enough strangers within the family band already. A shift of the wind blew over his own frame, combing skeleton fingers threw the thick fur that coated his body.
"Vayne." Was all that slipped from the brute, sure the woman had a voice that could capture anyone's attention, but he wasn't about to let her tones possibly fool him. "Lost." His voice echo's out simple words, but the families native language thick with it's accent upon his own tongue. His paws muddied as he found his way to a rock and semi dry terra firma. But no matter where he turned it seemed to make him more damp.
The woods were humid but the dampness only allowing more humdity to rise. He shook out, trying to get the filth from his coat, but failed. There was no sense. "Do you know were I am located." He stated a little gruff.

Vayne was mostly always quiet, never seeing the point in communication unless it dealt with his family and Judila. He was sick of the mud though as it seemed to find it's way threw every single fur on his paws and legs. Although the swamp was calming he known danger lurked and wanted nothing more than to get out of the swampy territory. Ears plaster against his cranium. A low growl emites from him as he lifted a paw watching as mud slipped from his paw back to the ground with a plop.
Ugh, how he hated this. The sounds of the womans vocals pull his attention to her instead of the mud all around him. "These swamplands could get anyone lost the way they melt away the prints we leave in the ground." He couldn't tell the woman it was a pleasure although he wished he could. He listened to her speak even more, speaking about a landmark. Ears swivel upon his skull. "Well, hopefully we find this landmark you speak of and not get lost even more within this territory."
He wanted nothing more than out of these lands. His eyes scanning the area, continuing on, finally! His paws hit some what of dry land, a breath of relief exits his throat. Vayne offers a nod, he walked along side of her, his eyes watching as his ears splayed listening for anything to make itself known within the area. Vayne after all was a protector. Vaynes tail swaying behind him, as he lowers his head towards the ground. "Is that it? Ahead of us?" Hoping that it wasn't only elm trees gathered close together. He sighed as he drew closer, nope not the palms. But maybe they were closer yet?
