Ellara's lithe figure emerged softly from the golden grasses of Fern Gully, her blush-pink paws brushing the earth with care. Her striking pink eyes softened as they landed on a familiar gilded figure. "Fic?" she called gently, the name slipping from her lips like a long-forgotten melody. The tension in her friend's posture, the flicker of unease in those avocado eyes, did not go unnoticed. Stepping closer, she offered a small, warm smile. "It’s been a while… You look like you could use some company." She sat nearby, careful not to impose, allowing Fic the space to choose comfort or solitude.

She known that her friend was busy, and didn't want to take time away from Ellara to do her own tasks that she wished to complete. "Do you possibly have time to give me a check up by any chance?" Her tones like a whisper upon the wind that danced around them. She was some what scared that it was more than just a head cold. She needed to know she was going to be doing the right thing to take care of it if it was. A smile once more as her tail danced behind her frame.

Ellara's pink eyes softened with warmth as she took a step closer to Fic. “I’m doing well enough,” she replied gently, though her focus quickly shifted to her friend's discomfort. The way Fic's voice trembled and her posture tensed didn’t escape Ellara’s notice.
“Of course, I have time for you,” she assured, her voice steady yet soothing. Sitting beside Fic, she added, “Let me take a look. We’ll figure out what’s going on.” Her tail brushed the grass as she began a quick visual inspection, already making mental notes of Fic’s symptoms and possible remedies. Her soft, blush-colored paw lifted to Fic's chest so she could feel her heartbeat first.

A friendly nuzzle was offered to Ellara's cheek when she drew closer, sure they allowed seasons to pass without a word from each other but Identification known that Ellara was busy on her own journeys and travels. When Ellaras words fell stating that she is doing well it caused a smile to reach her eyes. "I am so very glad that you are doing well."
She was to say relieved that Ellara had time for a friend, her tail dancing around behind her excitedly. Something was making her feel sick though, a scent. Identification also known that her heart rate wasn't what that it should be, a little more quicker as well as her breathing even when trying to slow her breathing down.
"Tell me what you have been up to lately since we've last spoke while checking me over?" She offered with a smile, knowing that she spent a night or so with Scald, she couldn't have fallen pregnant with one night - could it? Maybe she was pregnant... but she needed to find out before anything.

Ellara smiled warmly at the friendly nuzzle, her heart lightened by the reunion despite the concern for Fic’s health. She began her examination, her pink eyes sharp but kind, scanning for clues to her friend's discomfort.
“I joined the Hallows,” she began, keeping her tone light to distract Fic while she worked. “We reside in a castle called Hearthstone - full of strong and educated wolves, focused on support and protection. I’ve even participated in a few raids. They were just exercises, thankfully, but still… intense.” Her voice softened, and she hesitated briefly. “I met someone too. A wolf who felt like a dream... but… he didn’t want to talk to me. It’s silly, really,” she added with a nervous chuckle, brushing the moment aside.
Her nose twitched as she took in Fic’s scent more deeply, and her ears perked at the rhythmic sound of her friend’s quickened heart. There was a change: something distinct and undeniable. Ellara’s gaze brightened with realization, and her voice softened further as she tilted her head with a knowing smile.
“Fic… I think you’re not sick at all,” she murmured, stepping back slightly. “You’re pregnant.” Her tail wagged gently as she added, “Congratulations. How do you feel?” The healer’s expression radiated warmth, her own worries momentarily forgotten in the joy of her friend’s pregnancy. She had never diagnosed such a thing before outside of practice, and she could not have been more happy to be there for her friend as a physician as well for this event.

They both were strong women and Identification was no doubtly respectful and understanding that they all lived different lives now. The Hallows, it souned familiar but she wasn't about to interupt Ellara. A smile though that she found a pack full of educated and strong wolves. And living within a castle? How pleasant it must be. Ellara had continued on, speaking about raids which made the palomino woman tense slightly, only to ease once more.
Ellara began again after a pause, stating that she was not sick, but indeed pregnant. Her eyes widened with fear but joy at the same time. Ears perk forwards. "That would explain why I've been feeling sick. I thought that it was however just a head cold. Now that just makes everything make more sense." A smile as she looked to Ellara. "I can't wait to break the news to him though." Her tail danced wildly around behind her.
Drawing a breath in. "I can't believe that you live within a castle, I am glad that you are completely supported and protected Ellara. You deserve the best of everything dear. And you are wrong, it doesn't sound silly. Maybe try to talk to him again?" Identification asked and questioned to Ellara.

Ellara chuckled softly, her pink eyes glimmering with warmth. “It makes sense now, doesn’t it? I’m so happy for you, Fic. I can tell you’ll make a wonderful mother,” she said, her voice gentle and encouraging. Seeing her friend’s excitement eased some of her own melancholy, reminding her how joy could be found even when you least expected it to show up.
At Fic’s mention of the castle, Ellara offered a small nod. “It’s beautiful, honestly. Safe, too. I feel like I finally have a place where I belong… though I’ll admit, it’s not without its challenges,” she said with a slight smile. “But thank you, that means so much to me.”
The topic of Quill caused her ears to lower slightly, but she managed a soft laugh. “Maybe I will try again… one day. I’m just not sure what I’d say to him. Sometimes, I think it’s easier to focus on my work and let fate decide.”
Her gaze softened as she looked at Fic. “But enough about me. I can already see how happy you are, and it’s wonderful. When you tell him, I hope it’s everything you dream it to be. You deserve that joy, Fic.” She offered a warm nuzzle, her own tail swaying lightly.
“Fic, if it’s alright with you, I’d like to help you through this,” she said gently. “Pregnancies can sometimes be tricky, especially for first-time mothers. I want to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible - for you and your pups.”
She paused, tilting her head thoughtfully. “How about we meet again in a week? For now I can give you herbs to help ease any discomfort that can be found here in the valley, and next time we see each other I'll have more suitable herbs for you to take continuously for your health. And if anything feels off before then, promise me you’ll send Halia for me right away - I'll have her go with you so you are always connected to me. ” Ellara whistled, and sure enough the trained, rust-colored barred owl appeared no matter it being the middle of the day. She was a beautiful creature, and the strong bond she had with the wolf seemed almost telepathic with how she understood. Her eyes were wide and fixated on he mother-to-be.
Ellara's pink eyes met Fic’s lime-green gaze with a seriousness. “This is such an exciting time, and I’d be honored to help you every step of the way. You’re not alone in this, okay?” Her tail gave a gentle wag as she smiled, hoping to reassure her friend.

Winter nights, we sang in tune Identification smiled as she heard the chuckle that emitted from her dear friend. Listening to the words that slipped forth from Ellara. Hoping that the woman was indeed correct. "I do hope that you are right, that I will be a wonderful mother Ellara. And it does make complete sense now. Because everything, like certain scents were making me feel ill to my stomach." Her own voice gentle and warm as she spoke, she worried about breaking the news to Scald and everyone. How would they feel about her being pregnant with the little darling pups. Her attention turned to Ellara, away from the doubt that wanted to cloud Fic's mind. Happy that Ellara was there, giving her some guidance and information as best as she could. And then going on about the castle. It felt as if it was from a story they were read as pups. ""That still is amazing. I am glad that you found somewhere safe, somewhere to call home my darling friend. And no matter where we go there are always challenges that we face." Her ears swiveled as she replayed the words that fell from her own lips to Ellara, it did make complete sense. Fic also took notice to how Ellara forced out a soft laugh at the mention of the brute she had meant. Fate had a strange way to bring others close together. Fic offered her dear friend a smile. ""Well, while you work - maybe the words will come to you. I heard that art could also help. I took studies of art from a woman up north." She hoped that Ellara could speak to this someone again. Her smile widened for a moment before fading away, thoughts coming to her mind. ""I can only hope that him and his family wont turn me away and think wrongly of myself." A sigh slithered out, but ended when she felt that warmth of Ellara's nuzzle, her tail waving behind her. The cream woman listened to the other woman speak out again, offering a nod in agreement. After all, this would be Identifications first litter. "I would enjoy that, especially having support from those that I trust and adore as yourself Ellara." Fics tone was warm and gentle. "I want only what is best for the pups and myself." A nod of agreement once more when Ellara whistled out, the barred owl appearing looking as if speaking to Ellara and then looking to herself. A warm smile offered to Halia. "Hello Halia, and I will and thank you again Ellara, I am glad that our paths have crossed again and will cross many more times. And hopefully these little darlings don't give me any hard times while they are within me.." A nervous laugh filtered out. Pools look to the herbs, her eyes scanning over each one. "How would I prepare these if you don't mind filling me in? And when should I take these also." She looked to them then up to Ellara and Halia, both were beautiful, and Identification was glad to have such a friend like her on her side. Now to go and talk to Modesty or someone of Scald's family, hoping that they would allow her within their boarders. "I just hope they don't hate me." A nervous laugh filtered out once more. Ellara's lips were pulled into a gentle smile as Fic's warm words filled her ears, her pink eyes alive with understanding and appreciation. "You will be a wonderful mother, Fic," she reassured again, her tone firm with honesty yet kind with love. "And, if the father or his family have any doubts, just remember - you are strong, and your little ones are lucky to have you. I'll be here to help, no matter what."
As Fic mentioned the herbs, Ellara nodded her muzzle, her healer's instincts taking over. She nudged one of the gathered bundles with her paw. "These here are mint and ginger, they will help with nausea and settle your stomach. You can brew them into a tea in just a little hot water once or twice a day. As for this," she motioned to the other smaller bundle, "it's chamomile. It'll help you relax and sleep better if you are feeling anxious. Same preperation as the tea for nausea, but you drink this one in the evening as you prepare for bed. We will want to start you on vitamins that are good for the pups, but I need a bit more time to collect those-"
Halia, Ellara's barred owl, gave a soft coo, flapping her wings lightly as if to emphasize her support. Ellara smiled at her companion before looking back to Fic. "I'll meet with you again in a week to make sure everything is going smoothly. And remember, if you feel unwell or if you are worried about anything, send for me immediately. No question is too small for me to make my way to you and ease your mind."
Ellara leaned in, offering a small nuzzle of comfort. "You've got this, Fic. And as for those little darlings... they'll be worth every moment, no matter how much trouble they give you," she teased with a soft laugh. "So let's go over, what are these and how do you prepare them? How often?" She hovered her paw over each of the bundles, smiling as she awaited the answer.
