The black male had enjoyed a night of passion, one that he hadn't felt in a long time. Everything about it -- the energy, the rustling of their contrasting furs, and the way she had whimpered at his touch -- was indeed magical. Not long after their union, Garth lowered himself to all fours and slowly walked to stand beside her. He noticed how exhausted she was and a warm smile appeared on his face. If he was an ass, he would have been proud of his achievement for the night; instead, he was just honored she had allowed him to take her. Sweat poured in his fur as his skin felt exposed to the warm, spring air. He breathed in a large amount of it, making him feel ecstasy from the previous encounter. Taking a few steps away from her, he went to move the coconut shells away from where they stood. His head then lowered to the ground where the aloe leaves had been placed. She couldn't deny how great it had been to let loose, to not think about her actions and just do what felt right. Every moment she'd spent with Garth felt perfect, like it had always been meant to happen. She would smile as he looked her over, she'd feel her tail wag slightly at being held so adoringly in his gaze. It had been far too long since she'd been looked at like that. She would let herself relax too, trying to catch her breath. He would move though, catching her eyes that watched him curiously. He wanted her to follow him. She'd been able to trust him this far, "As long as you help me walk," She wouldn't admit it to him, but he'd been right she wasn't ready to be off Orchid's prescribed rest. She'd let herself get a little too carried away, her legs would try to stand beneath her, but it was obvious rising by herself was futile. "And you may need to help me up." Speech

The female had gone against medical advice, but had pursued her desires anyway. Garth couldn't help but softly chuckle as he watched her try to stand like a pup at four weeks old. Silently, he turned towards her and lowered his full frame to the ground. His shoulders were broad enough to take a heavy load or two if it needed to be done. "Climb up," he softly directed, intending on carrying her towards where he wanted to go. Once she was securely on his back, Garth slowly pushed himself up until all four legs were sturdy. He took the steps towards where he wanted to go and he made sure she was still secure as they walked through the greenery he had his eye on. It didn't take long for them to arrive at his chosen spot: a small area surrounded by jungle flowers of different colors. The ground was soft and filled with green grass that was not usually found in the Gulley. Garth lowered her to the ground and then made sure she got comfortable. Once she was set, Garth placed the strips of aloe across her scars, making sure the oil would settle and make the scars remain fresh and clean. Light blue eyes shimmered as he watched her before he leaned in and rested his forehead against hers. Garth closed his eyes and happily sighed before whispering, "You...are definitely something else." He then snuck a kiss to her forehead before pulling back to walk around to her back. His massive frame curled around hers, surrounding her with his tail and front paws. Garth tenderly nuzzled her neck before looking up at the stars above them. His body began to show signs of tiredness and before too long, he felt Song's body press into his. Her warm weight made him even more sleepy and his eyes closed to the world. It took him no time to be at her side, offering his broad back for her to perch up as he carried her to the intended destination. She'd smile excitedly, doing better getting to his back than to her feet. When she was balanced he would trot off, taking her to a magical grove of flowers. He would lower her to a bed of lush green grass softly. She would settle easily, finding the bed incredibly comfortable. Garth would quickly come to tend to her aching wounds, taking the sting out of them with the aloe plants he'd found earlier. She'd find her muzzle grazing his leg affectionately as he worked, amazed at how gentle and kind he was. He'd finish and step back to observe his work, she'd feel his eyes trailing over her and the familiar shy feeling would creep back. She could still hardly believe what she'd let herself do, but she wouldn't regret it at all. Letting someone else have full control was so different from anything she'd ever experienced. She wouldn't say it yet, but if she hadn't known better she would say she was falling for her savior. His forehead would meet with hers, she'd push back with affection, closing her eyes as she enjoyed his intimate touch. "You...are definitely something else." She'd smile brightly as her eyes opened again, accepting his kiss lightly as she watched him pull away and come to lay at her back. Completely surrounding her form. She'd feel his nuzzles before he leaned back to look at the stars above them, her own gaze would follow his and her bodice would lean back against him. She felt safer here than anywhere else in the world. This night with Garth had totally turned her crazy world upside down. "You're pretty amazing too," her voice would whisper as she leaned into his neck, her eyes closing sleepily. He'd done a perfect job of wearing her out. Speech

That night, Garthinaw had a dream. The vivid colors and details of where he walked were so breathtaking, he didn't know if it was real or not. Silent, gray-dipped paws carried him through a forest of white trees that stood still, despite the moving wind. His soul was stirred as he came to the center of the forest and came upon a crystal clear pond. Glacier blue eyes shimmered as he looked at his reflection, before noticing another presence. Turning his head to the right, he saw her. Then, everything became so right...
The next morning, Garth woke before the sun even touched the sky. He glanced around and noticed Song was still sleeping. A sweet smile appeared on his face and he slowly and quietly peeled himself from her side. She remained asleep and he silently set off for some nearby breakfast. Garth wasn't a big meat eater, he actually preferred berries and nuts. He came across some delicious berries that were in season and made a small arrangement in one of the empty coconut shells he found nearby. After he was done, he decided one piece of meat wouldn't be so bad.
Garth found an isolated pond in the middle of a small clearing. Fish lazily swam at the top, enjoying the quiet that surrounded them. Without blinking an eye, Garth caught two of them and somehow carried them and his bundle of berries back to the white dame resting in their hideaway. If she was awake when he arrived, he would welcome her with a grin and lower the food into a simple arrangement for them to share. If she was asleep, he would arrange it anyway and then go back to sleep beside her.

It wouldn't take very long for her to fall asleep after closing her eyes, with the energy supposed to be focused on her healing wounds she had found rest much needed. That morning she would still be so heavily in sleep she wouldn't notice Garth slip away to find the pair of them breakfast. She needed the extra rest though, and wouldn't be stirred until she heard Garth rustling around, getting their meal set out nicely. She would feel her eyes blink open, the realities of last night flooding back to her as she took in Garth's dark form. She'd blush at the realization of the things she'd done with him, taking in a breath as she'd accept it. She wasn't going to have regrets. A shy smile would play upon her features as she let her front legs rise from the earth, elated that he'd stayed with her and would provide a beautiful light breakfast. She'd whine softly, wanting nothing more than to have his massive frame close to her. "Good morning, I see you've been busy." Her voice was sweet, with almost an innocent tone to it. She would not whisper now that the sun had arisen. "It looks beautiful." Speech

His black face broke its silence with a white smile as he watched her slowly rise from the ground. She greeted him and approached him without hesitation. Garth took the few steps towards her to close the gap and he tenderly nuzzled the left side of her neck before voicing in deep tones, "Good morning to you, as well." He then pulled back and met her bi-colored gaze. "Not too busy to stay away from you," he added, eyebrow rising above his right opt as he gently blinked. Song then looked at the setup and he followed her gaze. His tail lightly thumped on the ground and away from the food when he made a cheesy remark. "Not at beautiful as you in the morning light." He said it with suave, but so lightly that she would have to know he was failing at being smooth first thing in the morning. If she caught on and showed it, Garth would gently laugh and nudge her right ear with his cool nose. "Dig in. The patient needs all the nutrition she can get!" Speech, Awesome pic by Shelby <3

He would close the distance between them, obviously not satisfied with the distance between them. It was odd how much she felt herself craving his presence. He would nuzzle her gently, returning her greeting softly. Her tail would join his in thumping against the earth, she'd never been treated so well before. He'd wooed her last night but now he was dining with her, complimenting her early hour appearance. She would giggle in response, it had been a long time since someone had talked to her like this. He would encourage her to eat, wanting nothing more than for her to dig into the morning meal. It was all so pretty she didn't have much to protest about. Her head would lean down, hoping he would eat his share with her. Jaws would nibble at the provided food delectably, every bite she would savor as her tails gently brushed against his dark hip. When she finished her features would rise once more, her stomach much happier now taht she didn't have to worry about food. "what a delightful meal Garth" She'd nuzzle into his neck affectionately. Song ate her breakfast, enjoying each bite so she would have the memory of that morning with him. Garth didn't waste any time lowering his head beside hers, but he did take his own time eating one berry after another. He juggled the berries and fish, alternating the tastes within his mouth for better flavors. Sweet and salty were two of his favorite combinations. In no time, his breakfast plate was licked clean. A satisfied sigh escaped Song's lips as she finished enjoying her meal. Garth couldn't help but shyly chuckle as she complimented how delicious her portion had been. "Yeah, wellll..." he stated, words fading into air as he returned her affectionate nuzzle to her forehead. He felt her body press against his and he welcomed it, still shocked that all of this was happening. Garth wasn't the kind to fall for someone right away, but maybe this opening up stuff was supposed to happen. There was so much Song didn't know about him, and some part of him wanted to shield her from that. Maybe, in time, she would know it all, but he was not ready to share. Glacier blue eyes looked out blankly at the surrounding flowers, taking in the details of their petals. Dew still rested on the pretty colors, making their drops shimmer in the morning glow. Garth smiled and softly noted, "Those flowers certainly look lovely this morning, don't they, Song?" Speech,

He would nuzzle her similarly, and she found herself again enjoying his every touch. She felt like she didn't know him at all, but knew him so well at the same time. She kept reasoning with herself that actions spoke louder than words, and so far she would find herself trusting him completely. He'd done wonders for her body, would he keep safe her fragile heart too? As her form leaned into his she would let herself enjoy his musky scent, listening silently at his comment about the flowers that were around them. She would mumble a 'yes' quietly, but in reality her bicolored gaze was closed, completely content in just letting him share her weight. Speech

He couldn't help but feel like a guard for the white woman beside him. As she leaned in and pressed her weight against his massive frame, he wanted to curl up and make them disappear from the world's ugliness. Alas, such things could not happen. Song had a family (a large one from what he had heard) and he knew that she had to get better so she could return. In his heart, he knew they missed her. Garth continued to watch the flowers as they danced in the unseen wind, his mind pondering about what the future would hold. The black male rested his head on top of Song's, glacier blue eyes closing as he tried to look past that morning. What would happen once she got better?
