Hit the Lights

Hit the Lights is a semi-literate, semi-realistic canine roleplay set in the secluded town of Maddox Creek, Rhode Island. Shortly after WWI ended, the U.S. Government decided to seal off Maddox Creek from the rest of the country, calling in an emergency evacuation, making all of the inhabitants leave carrying nothing but the clothes on their back. All of the belongings and dwellings of the humans remain frozen in time, juxtaposed neatly where they were on that fateful day. Everything is still, eerily quiet, except for the howling of the dogs. This is the City of the Dogs, this is their story.
