Halloween Event - Phase 3
It persists..
The sun now never rises above the horizon, casting the few remaining daylight hours into an eternal twilight. Auroras dance across the star-streaked sky. While no clouds mar the heavens, a thick fog coats the grounds of every land, only the tallest peaks escaping their grasp. Within the mists, it's possible to see wolves who passed, both related and unrelated. Though they are not tangible in any way, it is obvious they have a will of their own and may be up for conversation. Many strange, glowing creatures make their way into the lands, eating upon the many species of glowing plants which have now made Auster and Boreas their home. Crystal clusters grow to half the size of an average wolf and now off of tree trunks and other forms of decay. Wherever one looks past the mist, the world seems entrapped by the blue glow of these new flora and fauna. Those who have dared come in close contact with these strange objects, from the mushrooms to the crystals and the fireflies and the strange voices on the wind, begin to realize that their troubles are only just beginning...
Rumor has it that the Firefly Guy is continuing to appear, in greater frequency too... surely those are just rumors?

- Fungi begins to grow, often out of the eyes, ears, and open wounds.
- Some characters might feel the overwhelming urge to remove these fungi, but removal is excruciating as the fungi seemed to be tethered tightly to bone.
- If removal is successful, the fungi quickly grow back, but in larger quantity.
- Spores begin to multiply in the lungs, leading to coughing fits and shortness of breath.
- Wherever the fungi grow, small amounts of brightly-colored fluid may ooze out (often purple, blue, or green).
The following wolves have been infected with the Ooze, variation 2:

How to Participate
- Each character can submit one event prompt for this phase.
- Each thread must have a minimum of 3+ rounds per character, or a single post of 1,000 words.
Prompts
- So you've contracted strain #1 of The Ooze, likely from coming into contact with infected mushrooms or bacteria. Your character must explore the effect of this variation of the illness. What are the physical effects? How is it effecting them mentally? How are they dealing with it? Note that they must be suffering from obvious symptoms, not mild ones.
- So you've contracted strain #2 of The Ooze, likely from coming into contact with infected crystals. Your character must explore the effect of this variation of the illness. What are the physical effects? How is it effecting them mentally? How are they dealing with it? Note that they must be suffering from obvious symptoms, not mild ones.
- So you've contracted strain #3 of The Ooze, though the source is uncertain. It seems it has come from the glowing "fireflies" or even the voices you've been hearing.. but how can voices make you sick? Weird... Your character must explore the effect of this variation of the illness. What are the physical effects? How is it effecting them mentally? How are they dealing with it? Note that they must be suffering from obvious symptoms, not mild ones.

yet, but you're still living among the infected. Interact with either someone who is infected, or keep exploring these growing crystals, mushrooms, or even thread with someone you thought to be long gone. Just remember that the danger is far from over... - Something strange is happening. One moment you were in Somnium, but now... Is this the real world? You feel... nothing- physically anyway- but there is definitely something out of sorts. Maybe someone from the living realm knows something more. Or maybe there's others like you around. Maybe there's a way to feel whole again in the mortal world...

Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.
