He’d managed to escape from the wolf that he had at first thought was perfectly respectful, and turned out to actually be a little crazy. If he’d known stealing the bracelet would wind up like this, he might have kept his nose out! But also only maybe, he also liked a challenge.

He had no idea where the bracelet was now of course, which was the majority of the issue. She expected him to show her Astraios - and therefore the bracelet - was. Instead, he let her on a merry chase around Boreas while his cousin escaped. It took him some time to lose to the girl, and he knew she was hot on his trail. He needed somewhere to hide, and the scent of pack gave him a grand idea.

He made his way to the border, scenting sheep and other farm animals. The place looked sedentary, and calm. Not the sort of place that expected ruffians at their borders. Giving a charming smile across the landscape, he raised his head and howled for the alpha.

It was another pretty quiet day in Avalon, which normally was not at all a bad thing. Quiet was better than another raid, for instance. Quiet normally suited the pastoral little colony, with most of the residents busy with something or other on their own. Quiet didn't suit Corbie today, though, and the solitude left her feeling restless and moody. Tam had busied himself with the sheep, Ayer with weaving, and even Ren had taken herself off to patrol without Corbie's mood to deal with, which certainly didn't help. When the call came from the border, it was a relief, a spark of excitement. And, as she approached the caller, she couldn't help but notice that he was certainly easy on the eyes, as well. "Hello," she greeted with a smile. "I'm Corbie, alpha of Avalon. What can I do for you?"
