The damp cavern clung to her fur in the most annoying way possible. Yet partway through her trip it began to make her head feel fuzzy. Ruby hadn’t intended to get lost but in her confusion she had. The purple wraith weaved through colorful chambers with a smile on her face. A soft giggle escaped her throat as she stumbled near a small pool of water. Since when did she look so funny? Her face was in a bunch of swirls.

"Huh I look cute even like this." She pressed a paw to her chest. Wait she was trying to get out of here right? If she died down here she didn’t know if Reqouis would come looking. She definitely wouldn’t do it for him and after she’d taught him her morals. Who knew. Ruby stood and began to stumble in another direction. She’d get out of here one way or another.

He’d stumbled into this place not long ago. Riv cautiously picking his way around the strange colored pools. Left, right, left again. Dear denki how did he get himself into this mess. The yearling huffed raising his tail above his head. There was some sort of sweet smell in the air. The further he went in the more funny he felt. It wasn’t until he watched a stumbling woman make her way towards him. Giggling and whatever else it was she was doing.

"Excuse me are you lost?" He asked concerned. Though staying away from her in case it was bad news. It didn’t seeem like she was a threat. After all she probably was lost and he the mighty knight would be here to show her the way out. Right? "I think I know the way out I could always escort you." Happily his tail flicked back and forth, the end fluffing up as the odd canine watched the girl.

Ruby saw a swaying shape approach her. It was a wolf, a yearling but something was off about him. Ruby squinted her eyes wondering if he was real or not. Then he offered to escort her and she laughed. We’ll she wouldn’t turn him down, she didn’t know who he was or why he had the tail of a cat but she didn’t really care. "Oh yes please, my names Valerie seems the strange vapors have made this trip a little too fun." She snorted and made a soft circle.

"How the heck do WE get out of here then? I don’t think my beautiful coat can handle it much anymore." She scowled. Ruby had particulars with her appearance, she hated getting dirty and romping around had obviously ruffled her fur a bit. Whatever, as long as this young man could escort her out she didn’t much care and would likely never see him again.

Riv was very happy when she agreed. Yes, he could go back to ethne and tell them hed saved someone. The thought seemed to make him giddy. Then as they walked Valerie mentioned her beautiful coat making his ears twitch. "Well if you ask me youre still beautiful no matter what. Especially the color of your fur." maybe that would cheer her up.

"This way Val." he turned down a narrow corridor. The swimming colors in his vision making it a little difficult to see. He could smell fresh air though and if there was one thing he knew it was a sign of an exit. He remembered being in tunnels once with his siblings.

So he gave her some flattery. She laughed, the giggle escaping her without consent. Carefully she followed the odd boy. Not really sure if she should respond or not. So she quietly followed him for some time. "So how are you finding us a way out?" Rubys head was swimming and she wanted out badly. If she starved here she would never forgive herself.

Though further into the tunnel she spent time stating at his tail. "Why do you look so funny?" her nose wrinkled stopping for a moment while she tried to make sense of her surroundings. Her head was beginning to clear a little so he must be telling the truth when he said he was guiding her out. What sort of game was he playing?
