Medusa was pregnant. While part of her longed for another litter, part of her was scared. She'd lost Cryptis there for a minute, would she lose any more children? Granted, she had kept Morticia, Rou, and Tazzy alive and well as if they were her own children... She didn't want her daughter to become jealous or feel left out, and she also didn't want her to feel forced into something she didn't want. Being a big sister wasn't for everyone, Widow knew that one personally. She also didn't want to be like her mother, showering the world with puppies she didn't intend on taking care of all because she can't keep her legs closed. Ravage was a very handsome man though.... Maybe she was more like her mother than she thought.

None of that mattered now though. Since the meeting, she had been thinking on what she could fill her new apprentices brains with. She knew that Triss would probably rather have anyone else than her mother be her mentor, but honestly Widow was grateful for the time with her daughter. Widow knew that she could teach her anything she wanted to know, but whether or not Triss would listen was something else entirely. She was a teenager after all. The most she could hope for what that she would come when she was called for a lesson. If not, then no hard feelings. Though she would certainly do her best to convince Medusa to give Triss another mentor if she was desperate.

With Medusa having children on the way, there was every reason to start preparations ahead of time. Food would be stored closer to their due dates, but for now simple things could be made. Medusa did seem to love the large pelt blanket she had made for her before, so she considered making some smaller blankets for the future pups and turning it into a lesson. If she could get Rou and Triss to help, then making them would go by easily! Sorting out the materials into some baskets and some snacks into some others, she called for the girls softly and sat while she waited.
