It was late afternoon, and he was just barely waking up after yet another drunken night. He'd been hanging out with Ignis the night before, trying to find out why the dude was always so touchy with shit, but even after a few drinks, the red guy was tight-lipped and uptight. Ares had eventually gone to bed, but not without a hangover, of course. "Dad!" He grumbled and rolled over, trying to ignore whoever was calling for him, and then slowly and painfully realized he was supposed to be taking Phoenix out for border patrol. Shit.
