She'd have loved this place.
Griffith knew he needed to stop thinking those things, for reasons he couldn't fathom he'd survived. He was split on the reasoning, half convinced it was sheer dumb back luck and half convinced that it was some kind of fate. Neither felt good. He just needed to try and be in the moment, enjoy the scenery and all that. And it should have been easy, spring meant the trees were bursting in pink blooms and he'd never seen anything quite like this! And yet his mind kept sliding back into darker places. Griffith sighed and settled himself under one of the blossoming trees, well aware that depending on how long he spent sitting in it's shade he'd start collecting pink petals. What exactly did he need to do to start healing? Grieving seemed impossible, he was still so numb to the reality of her passing it was nearly impossible to start processing it.
