The pups were born, which meant she could go back to her favorite haunt and stretch her muscles. She had grown extremely restless since she had been pregnant, and although she had been itching to fight during, Umbra had banned her from doing any such thing until after they were born. And that had finally happened! So the first chance she got, she made her way to the battlefield, itching to find an opponent as soon as possible. Throwing back her head, she called for someone to come fight her. She didn't quite care what the stakes were for, she just wanted to bite things!

"Speech"

Grandpa, her dad, her mum, they'd probably all be pretty cranky if they found out she was down here, but she had her goose waddling along with her and Ursa snuck off all the time (although she rarely came back with the sort of war wounds Whisper seemed intent on acquiring any time she stepped foot outside). It'd be fine, right? It wasn't like she was completely alone, and goosey could wander off and tell on her if things got out of control.

The call caught her attention, and its intent was pretty clear. Her tail lifted over her back as she strode towards the caller with all the swagger an overconfident tween could muster. She tried to smile, but the muscles felt all funny in her face when she did so. Instead, she set her paws and lowered her head rolling her shoulders forward as a silent signal that she was ready to rumble. The woman was bigger than her but not the biggest wolf she had ever seen. She would get in close and aim her teeth just behind the skeletal patterned woman's right elbow, and would swing her hips towards the leg in the hope of getting her off balance.

It wasn't long before someone came along, and when the youngster approached her, Medusa looked down, down, down...and thought at first what she was staring at was a puppy. Or...nope, yep. Definitely a puppy. A very small puppy. One that perhaps even matched some of her own...or maybe she was smaller. She squinted as she thought about it, but it was a little hard for her to imagine how tiny this one was compared to some of her kids when neither of them were standing there side by side to compare. Oh well! She smiled at the girl, taking up a defensive stance as the girl made her intent known. Okay, so she was gonna fight a puppy! Sure, no problem! She'd just...have to make sure to not accidentally eat her in one bite! Easy peasy!

The girl came at her, and although Medusa was a veteran compared to the pup, she was just a little too slow. She felt those sharp needle-like teeth on her elbow, and she Eeped as the girl got her shot in. Luckily, Medusa was ground enough still that the young girls attempt at unbalancing her wouldn't really work...too bad, so sad! Medusa looked down at where the girl was, dual toned eyes lit with amusement before she lifted a paw and aimed to bat the puppy and bowl her over.
