Just For A Minute

Her children had been born and although she was tired, she needed to stretch her legs, to see something other than the walls of her den for even just a few minutes. Leaving her children under the watchful eyes of her companions with strict orders for the ravens to find her if they needed her, Widow left Insomnia really to just get some fresh air. It was good for her to walk anyway, she didn't want to hold onto all this baby weight forever anyway.

Without paying much attention and knowing that she wouldn't go too far, she easily found the willows and the pond within. In a way it reminded her of the Nook, though it wasn't like the trees were anything similar. She really didn't like to be reminded of Habari, but the cooling water would feel wonderful, even if it was a bit cold. Nothing she couldn't handle of course, and she didn't have plans to submerge herself in it either. Really, she just wanted to dip her paws in and take a few refreshing drinks. Nothing like some fresh, cool water anyway. And silence. The silence was the best part.
