Dark clouds

Inferno tested the air, redolent with the scent of threatening rain, and decided it was unlikely to start down pouring again within the next few hours. It would be as good a time as any to get some exercise in and explore the pack's lands. She didn't expect trouble, but slipped into her gear anyway. It was good practice to exercise in your gear when possible to be accustomed to it when the time came that you actually did need it, or so she had learned through long experience. It was with a loose and easy stride that she took off into the heavy feeling air of the island, though her bicolor gaze roved in a state of constant alert.
