I Think I Like When It Rains
Mariah
As Caedes made his way back to Mariah, the moonlit night cast them in its soft silver glow, it was a quiet night with a slight chill in the air. A foreboding of winter. Lost in thought, Caedes approached Mariah, his footsteps marked by the gentle rustle of foliage underfoot. He found her seated amidst the garden's peaceful clearing, her silhouette a hauntingly graceful figure among the assorted flora.
"Mariah," Caedes's voice, rough and warm, broke the tranquil silence as he settled beside her. His massive frame leaning into her to block the breeze, a sideways glance cast her way. His words, uttered with a mellow rumble, carried an air of genuine curiosity. "Won't you share more about yourself with me?" He requested, his eyes reflecting the soft moonlight as he gazed at her, eager but trying to bridle his hunger for more of her.

Just as she was lost in the mysteries of the night sky, Caedes's sudden deep and comforting voice broke through her reverie. A jolt of surprise and curiosity shot through her as she turned to face him, his silhouette illuminated by the moon behind him. His request for her to open up and share more about herself caught her off guard, but she welcomed the opportunity to connect with him on a deeper level. The gentle rustling of leaves and chirping of crickets provided a soothing soundtrack to their conversation, making it feel like they were the only two people in the world at that moment. “What is it that you would like to know?" Mariah replied, her voice soft yet full of warmth.
The sound of Mariah's voice, soft yet filled with warmth, was like calming to the brute. Of course there were times too that her voice set him aflame, but he was fixated on his question. As she turned to face him, he was captivated by her, her gaze that could look at him and only see him. He offered her a grin, an affectionate if not predatory one.
"Everything, really.” Caedes confessed, his own voice a deep rumble that echoed through the garden. "I am very greedy. I want to know your thoughts, dreams, stories that shaped who you’ve become. I want whatever you wish to give me."
He paused for a moment, a faintly mischievous smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he considered his next words. "Yes, Tell me about the moments that have made you." He requested, his gaze unwavering as he met Mariah's eyes. "The joys, the sorrows, the triumphs, and the challenges. I want to understand the essence of who you are, Mariah, maybe it will console my avarice." The brute smirked, pressing his muzzle into her cheek as he waited a response.
