Maki knew about Elysium, they'd always been neighbours as far as she could remember. But it seemed as though someone had come along and snatched the Sound right up under her nose. Well okay, she hadn't exactly been paying attention to her surroundings, least of all the political climate of Boreas- but still, it was new and kind of exciting. And maybe the slight stirrings of rebellion lingered in her chest had her wandering north, stopping just short of trespassing-even she wasn't quite so dumb. It was tempting though, to know what they were like- they being the wolves' who's scent filled the air. She breathed deep, mismatched nose twitching as her eyes roved the impressive scenery of the sound, steep slopes and a biting cold to the air.
A wind ruffled her coat, a cold warning that she ought to turn back. Not one she heeded.

Lingering near the borders, Rhazien was fortifying The Syndicate’s scent and leaving behind the trinkets Sephiran encouraged them to decorate it with. And so, as he traveled beneath the canopy of golden leaves ablaze in hues of autumn, he carried the dismembered body of a fox in his jaws. Leaving a leg here, a tail there, and hanging entrails from a low-hanging branch. Taking his time, Rhazien made sure their decorations were up to par, if only to satiate the Sultan’s passion for carnage.
After placing his last bit of fox fur near a large boulder, Rhazien stops to shake the tension from his pelt. Rolling his shoulders forward, raising his head, and sniffing at the air, he’s overtaken by the scent of fallen leaves and damp earth. Oh? And something foreign and tantalizing- an irresistible invitation, teasing his taste buds and beckoning him closer. A woman at their borders. Flicking his tail, and motioning for his two serval companions to leap down from his shoulders and take cover in the underbrush, he decides to intercept the intruder. Because if Sephiran found her first, well… bad news.
Emerging from the treeline, Rhazien’s multi-hued gaze catches the form of a silhouette standing on the horizon. A monochrome pelt clung to the youthful, supple curvature of a blossoming woman- an inquisitive expression spread across her face, posture not of fear or contemplation, but of curiosity. Admittedly, he’s equally as curious about her; something about her is familiar. Altering his course, he strides forward with an unmatched confidence, exuding an aura of charisma and allure. As he draws near, a smirk plays at the corners of his lips, creating a vision of effortless charm and magnetism. “Oh my,” He croons, stopping once he is several feet away, toes hovering the line that separated The Polar Sound from the wilds. “Has heaven lost an angel?” His head cocks slightly, an inquisitive expression on his face as he stares down at her- as if he truly believed the gates of heaven had opened, dropping the angelic beauty by mistake into a world of mundane mortals.
