Sid was soaked. She'd been sniffing around the edge of a large crater with a waterfall going down the center when a huge form collided with her from behind. A yip sounded as the multi-colored girl was swept down into the earth. Thankfully the damage wasn't too bad. Ah, but it very well could still get bad!

As Siduri stood at the bottom, paws sinking into the mossy floor, she saw the hulking form of a brown bear lumbering down the passage towards her. What, did it think she was going to be an easy meal? The bear groaned and began loping towards her. Ugh...

Siduri met the bear head on, biting at its face with sharp teeth. It took a good swipe at her, but its claws slid across the rainbow scales covering her throat and slipped clean away. Still, it made Sid cough a bit. No one liked being punched in the throat, eh?

"Siduri"

Life at home was not good. Being not even a year old yet, Lumine was experiencing more death than she cared to admit. Something inside of her stirred and that too she didn't care much for. She thought everything was fine, dandy, that she would live a good life. But now? The young girl wasn't so sure anymore. Clouded by the dark thoughts in her head, she hadn't noticed exactly where she was until it was too late. Stumbling over a rock and down a mossy incline, it was dark the next time she was able to blink. Where was she? Her confusion heightens when the groaning bellow of a bear causes her fur to bristle. A bear was definitely not on the list of animals she wanted to cross paths with today. Ready to high tail it out of there, she catches sight of the bear going after another girl. Though the pastel girl is older, she's already almost smaller than she is. Worried for the other girl's life, Lumine ignores all blinking signs of running away and instead runs at the bear. Coming up from behind, Lumine lunges forward and latches onto the bear's left hind ankle, digging and tearing at the tendons to hopefully render that leg useless. Lumine Trygg

The bears nose bled from where she'd bitten it, but that only served to make the beast more angry. Who could blame it? No one liked being bitten in the face, eh? Coughing had taken Sid's attention for a moment. Thankfully, her savior came in from behind. Another girl, larger than she was, bit into the bears hind ankle. The ursine turned its head enough to see what else was biting it. Dummy.

As the bears head was turned, Siduri took the opportunity to leap quickly forward, jaws open and aimed for the bears face. Teeth found flesh, and other things. A weird, hot goo shot into Sid's mouth and she almost threw up. Releasing the bear, she dropped back, nose wrinkled and tongue flicking as she tried to get the taste out of her mouth. Her gaze flicking up to the bear, which was now roaring in anger and pain, by the way, and noted that she had punctured its eye. It was eye goo in her mouth. Feeling a little sick, Sid frowned hard. Disgusting.

"Siduri"

Her teeth sink into fur and skin, gnashing and chewing until it finds tendon. The bear roars and turns to her in fury at the pain. It’s left paw is now useless, but also now half blind, the beast is more than pissed - it is enraged. Ready to go down fighting, Lumine dances back and out of the way.

Before the bear could fully turn back to the other girl who had blinded it, Lumine slides to the right and dives in to attack the bear’s other hind leg. Covered in blood and gore, Lumine doesn’t care. This was life or death now and they needed to incapacitate it quickly or it might be their deaths. Once more sinking her teeth into the bear’s hind ankle, she tears away until the bear can no longer walk.

There was a waterfall here, so why not use it? The piece that Sid had fallen down wasn't that long of a stretch, but there was another drop-off so very close by. As the other girl bit and tore at the bears heels, Sid had another idea. It looked as though she was running away, but nothing could be further from the truth. She needed a running start, so distance was required!

Inhaling deeply, Siduri ran as fast as her paws would take her. Head lowered, body streamlined, she darted through the cavern in the direction of the bear. At the last moment she jumped, slamming all four paws into the bears side. With its bum hind legs and it's precarious perch upon the edge of the falls, it was simple. The big beast went careening over the edge of the falls and down into deep darkness. Sid stood and looked over the edge, tongue lolled out and panting from the effort, but there was a bit of a pleased smile on her face as well.

"Speech"

As her teeth slice through the tendon, the bear staggering from loss of use, Lumine steps back. Licking at her lips to rid of the blood, she watches the enraged beast lose energy. Its blood trails down its face and legs, pooling over the rocky ground at the edge of a cliff.

Looking around for the other girl, Lumine sees her turning back toward the bear from a distance away. Canting her head to the side, she’s only confused for a moment when she realizes the plan of action. Stepping further away from the beast, Lumine lets out a whooping howl as the other girl shoves the bear over the cliff and to its death.
