The Party Don't Stop
Kuroki

Onyx wasn't a dumb girl, she had never experienced these feelings before but she knew after a few days what was happening too her. It was a lot of disbelief because after what, one night it had come to this? A night that still felt like a dream, like it was never real at all. Some kind of her fantasy after the drink. This was the clarity that it was real after all.
She had again been a little distant from Kuroki, certainly not edging to move in with him after their "off chance" encounter. Off chance for Onyx, not so much for Oki. Though she was still struggling with how they had come together at all. It was so simple and obvious, but she couldn't find that confidence in herself that Oki was actually interested in her. She was rather daft in that aspect.
She had come to where it happened, well the party that was. Looking up to the stones she had perched on and watched the more spirited party goers do their thing. She was much more lucid before Oki had found her at least. She felt a little aftermath embarrassment for her behavior, not that it was much behavior at all but it was so Onyx. Would she call for him? Probably not. But how much longer could she go before something was noticed... It was probably time to know about the other women Oki had in his life, or well not so much anymore.

Kuroki wasn't a hard wolf to find, his scent lingered, and he made no attempt at concealing it. He turned, sitting a little straighter, his ears flitting forward as he caught the sound of approaching paw steps, and who else would it be? He couldn't help but grin, all teeth and a lot of derp. He'd figured Onyx would feel a little awkward about it all, but he saw no reason to make this weird, he'd had a good time and he liked her a lot, always had.
"Ain't you a sight for sore eyes?"His teasing was in good faith, a playful little jab she really ought to have seen coming.

Cold feet? How she was such a girl. It was disgusting. To her at least.
As soon as she met eyes with Oki, her veins turned to ice. She was stalemated with him, she could barely make a word. What the fuck was wrong with her? She never imagined she'd be in this situation. Hell, she never imagined she'd bed with anyone for the rest of her life. If only one time, it came to this? Most would think it was a lick of fate, like everything was supposed to be this way. Some kind of miracle. Not for Onyx. This was some silly trick or curse someone slipped into her pocket. And still even with the way Oki treated her, she couldn't think of anything but when he was going to leave. If fate was such a thing, she'd get the short end of the stick. She always did.
Finally letting go of her breath she'd muster, "Wouldn't you be right this time." Had she ever agreed to that statement? Had she ever even acknowledged it? As standoffish as she was, she enjoyed Oki's little banter. She had some banter of her own. But could it be so easy to just let the news out? It was harder with ever passing breath. It would be so much easier to walk away.
